I have B&I things to do before then!! (Not that meeting up with Rags isnt important!!)Never give up, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn

hi everyone i thought i'd better check in as have been awol for a bit & , reading back, i have been missed! :l:h .....so....
puter is the main problem - lotsa issues with i/net & having been on the phone to telstra for nearly 2 hrs, being passed from Frankie to Ali to Shazhad at TelstraPlus hi-tech services, i've done lots of pinging & typing in numbers & bytes & all that shit....upshot & cutting long story short, all fixed.
been pretty busy all thru this month, & just returned from a weekend in South Australia attending a wool function. cruised the Barossa & did more sight-seeing than drinking ,thank goodness, & went to Maggie Beer's farm shop & came away drooling but also armed with a cookbook of how to cook with verjuice. yay.
back on the farm now & into lamb shearing & once that's finished, well hopefully october will slow down enough for us to get to our getaway farmlet & do some maintenance.
tawns, your lunch looked delicious!
i oven baked some salmon with dill & lemon & served flaked with avo, tomato & onion on crispbread. but am currently spoiling healthy diet with the last of a bar of lindt choc, better finish it really, as it does no good at all to be sitting there in the fridge calling to me.
feeling quite mellow, & have dug out cassettes from the cupboard, now playing Elton John singing "Rocket Man" & have played Neil Diamond, & before that Fleetwood Mac's greatest hits.
spring here has been good so fare, with some nice rains to help us out, (sorry ronnie i know you don't want the rain but we could still use it!!!).
also feeling nostalgic. sigh.
awaiting hankies dear happy, & will reward you suitably for your efforts!
it seems like all is calm in this partic farm (except for the meds section....woi woi!!!) & it sure is nice to return to the stability of it all. i think that some others' views that all we chat about is daily activities/news not addressing anything else, is mis-interpreted. i personally find it soothing & comforting in my own day-to-day inner turmoil of thoughts & emotions to carry on normal conversations, have a bit of a giggle, but i don't think we ever sweep anything under the carpet - more just pay due attention without hysteria or over-reaction or nastiness or accusations.
humans are a bizarre species.
however, i like our sub-species in here, & the army.
back later masticators.

Holy snappin' Doodyheads ... the arvo has a decidedly "the end of the world is nigh" feel to it. It's rooly rooly dark, more like it should be 6.30pm. WTF is going on? Spooooooky ...
I'm off to get the tinfoil.

I'll give you before and after photos and you can put a sandwich board of em on the main road, the RSL and the CWA.
We'll herd folk in through the crush, I'll cook them Froglette Method meals, then they have to go and labour for you for the morning. Lunch, then off for a personal training session with Sapph (by that stage they'll be down 5 kilos). Mr G can give them a motivational speech in the early evening.....Happs can supply EVOO and be the life coach. Missy and Techie, and Missy's watch are in charge of triathalon type training. Rags can do the bush regen programme. Beags can flog them round the track on horses (great exercise)......
Oh yes....it's alllllllll coming together in my head.......If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

Zenny and Juja could share their recipes for haggis and summer sausage.....that could be the lucky door prize.....as a matter of fact we could even play a little daily game of 'hide the sausage'If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?
