      Hope we have an Indian summer this year cos the proper summer was rubbish, as usual.

      Your clothes must be positively baggy on you by now Jackie. Got any plans to buy new ones or are you going to wait until you've reached your target size?

      Did you manage to finish off your crossword? I've been sat in the bath for the last hour doing a competition crossword in a magazine. Still got five clues to go. The prize is a bottle of ten year old port. Yuck, they can keep it!:yuk:

      Your hubs must be due over soon Cassia?

      Anyway, happy September everyone!

        I agree JC, lets make it a September to remember. In all honesty, it has to be better than August, for me at least.
        Reccie, how on earth can you sit in a bath for an hour????? Your fur will be sodden!

        Yesterday was probably one of my worst birthdays ever. I got turned down for 2 jobs. A huge kick in the guts. Apparently I got to the final 2 in both but was pipped to the post. Need to up my game somewhat and keep positive. Its all too easy for me to brood these days and I HAVE to stop myself.
        Anyway, sorry if I put a damper on the thread, just wanted to let you know where I was at.

        I hope all are well, and those that need sleep get it

                Sorry to hear about your jobs, starty, but getting to the final two should be a source of encouragement. Carry on like that and it surely won't be long before you do find a job. Chin up and stay positive!

                          Hey reccie! Cat is on his way today and husband arrives on Saturday! I am worried sick about my cat flying though. I don't want anything to happen to him.

                            Starty - things can only get better. Like Reccie said - getting to the final two is encouraging. I just know that something will come up soon and it could be even better than what you're expecting to find. Positive thoughts sent your way...:huggy

                            Cassia - best of luck with both flights. You must be so excited that you are finally getting your family together again. Kitty will be fine and sooooo happy to see you.

                            Tipster - hope you're feeling better.

                            Molly - I'd be pissed off blind about the missing money. Especially if it was for bills. Just saying....
