    On a different note, as I've said this festival is decades old. I was thinking this morning of the holiday weekends when I would have loved to go out cruising the sales, but had already been drinking and couldn't. Nice to have this freedom, you know? Hub's eyes roll back in his head, though, when I tell him I'm just going to 'look around'. :H

          Hello all-- seems like there is a mass illness at son's school-- 5 home in his class alone including his best pal that was supposed to have him for a playdate-- I am sure there will be tears when I go get him...I am just hoping he feels well-- first cuz I want him to feel good but second so he can go to his grandparents and we cna have a free weekend! One downer though-- weighed this morning so I would knwo if I gained this weekend (since I am going to splurge a little with dinner one night) and was the EXACT same as last Friday. When I think of the more than 1000 cals I know I have cut from my daily diet-- just from no drinks or crappy snacks after-- oh well-- hopefully there will be a change next week! Have fun at that sale Ruby. Biz-- lawyers are paid to get up in others mess-- this is one of the only good things they do so let them at it! (Being a lawyer I can say that!)

          Mama and Ruby-- I last had squirrel in law school-- I went to Washington and Lee and the first day of hunting season the guys would go hunt then come to class in their hunting stuff-- my dear friend from Carmi, IL cooked me creamed squirrel over biscuitsand succotash! No one can believe I actually ate it either!

          Headache is trying to come back again. I guess I will make an appt wit the neuro long term-- and go to an Urgent Care-- I stood the pain for about a week-- I refuse to do it any longer. Even I have limits!

            well started the dental work and well just my four front teeth were cut up and ready for caps and fitted for temps so im not walking around toothless ... and oh my god i have a funny story or a horror one where this lady came in for two pulls and she went back and he started working on her and oh my god this lady was.. lets just say she had everyone in the waiting room crying with laugher she was screaming it hurts oh doc it hurts over and over ..lol i was in tears .. thank god for novacane .. i finally got the taste of cut teeths out of my mouth .. and i swear this guy must be related to mr rogers .. he act just like him and talk with such a sofe voise... thank god they take payments and also a few more small jobs just came in ... well thats my day

              ATL, time for some help, girl. You don't want to spend a grown-up weekend alone with your husband and have to say 'Not tonight dear, I have a headache.' uch:
              Rog, sounds like you found a good dentist to go to. Hope you're not in too much pain. Take it easy for a day or two, don't get too hot. With any tooth I've had pulled, I got dry socket, and I'll tell you it's about the worst pain I've ever had. You'll know if it happens; instead of getting better the pain gets much worse. Hope you don't have any problems. No promises on the money part. Always looking for a 'find' when I go out to these places. Last year I bought a great old wooden trunk for about $10.00. Went over to the local store a few minutes ago and the yards and road in this uber-country area are already full.

                then......I go to the lake for Sunday and Monday and finish painting the house.....

                      yeah ruby i know but the two teeth were pulled one was three weeks ago and the other was two weeks ago and then grinding of the teeth this week so everything is healing great ..
                      and for some reason the glue they use and the one filling is brothering my gums and the fake teeth really look fake but hope by next week they have the caps in and get this all done ..
                      thankx mama have a great time and be safe girl

                        Rog, we really are related, huh? Dental problems are a way of life with me. I fainted at my first dentist's appointment when I was a child, not from fear, just what happened when I stood up. To this day, Nancy, my dentist, makes me sit up for 5 minutes before I stand, then walks me to the front desk. The absolute worst though, was when my front upper tooth wouldn't come out right as a child (I fell face first into brick steps as a child, killed it) and my Daddy came at me with what looked like HUGE pliers. I still rememeber the beads of laundry detergent on it where Momma washed it up for the big event. EEEEEEWEEEEEEE! I should've gotten $100 for that tooth instead of the quarter.

                          Hey everybody! Gosh - I do feel for you with your dental problems- I went through all that about 10 or 11 years ago - spent a fortune and had a lot of appointments, but had a wonderful dentist - would you believe a doctor BEAN ????? But I would never ever go to anyone else now. He is awesome. he was so good with me. dental care in the UK is not the greatest and I was terrified - he put me at ease and I now have no fear at all of the dentist - and have fairly good teeth, Ruby my dear OLD friend - I do hope that you get your problems sorted once and for all. Your dentist who has been charging you for replacing your bridge should be struck off. That is scandalous. Rog - I am pleased that you have been able to start your dental work - must make you feel better in yourself?? Good to hear you so positive once again - more like the rog we all know and love - and I will reply to your PM soon.

                          ATL - I echo the others - go to a doctor!!!!

                          Jan - enjoy your football and also your family reunion! Have fun won't you - you are so lucky to still have your dad. Wish I had mine still.......

                          I need to get going. The grands and my daughter are coming over - it is my grands 2nd birthday and I have to get stuff sorted. Have the cake and ice cream and pressies wrapped but need to finish sorting food out. will be back later. love and hugs to one and all,

                            Thank you, Rog, for your lovely compliment. :h I'm only a wee bit short of Ruby's aeons, so praise like this is fewer and further apart these days, and therefore tastes all the sweeter. On a dental note, I do know why the proverbial 'they' would say I'm getting a bit long in the tooth (rhodents, but not skwerls), but in my case years of weepings and gnashings of teeth (thanks to Al, mainly), combined with night bruskings, have quite worn mine down.

                              Hello Journeyers! Mish it is common knowledge that Rog feels that way about all the girls.
                              Having said that, you are a treasure and I think you are sweet! Coming from a girl, I hope that is just as uplifting. Maybe not.
                              As for dental issues, thank God, my empty spaces are not in front.:H No coverage whatsoever.
                              Things are getting so tight with moi--it's about to snap soon. Pray that I can hold them off as beautiful prospects could be realized.
