Hi all, just popping in to say quick hello, soon off to take my baby to the train station to go NYC bound to visit some friends. Ruby, I have heard that sometimes during pregnancy and post pregnancy that women can develop Bell's palsy so, it may very well be temporary for your lovely renter. Veryyyy good probability.. Also PM me regarding what type of problems you are having dental wise, I happen to work for two of the best dentists in NY and can offer some good, honest advice. If you are grinding you definitely need a bruxism appliance. Aka a nite guard. Our office only charges $325 for such an appliance,so if you are being charged more, you may be getting taken advantage of. There are plenty of good dentists out there but there a surely more bad ones. Have a wonderful weekend all! I hope to do some crafting after work tomorrow, wish me luck :h Gina

Nap was a no-show. Phone kept ringing. Oh well, I'll just lie down and watch my recordings a moment. 3 new appointments to show houses.
Hubs just walked in and P'd me off (don't ask!) so I'm ill as a sore-tail cat in a room full of rocking chairs at the moment. He's getting more worried about me being gone, but tough, I deal with it.
OH, am I going with him to the property? Don't anyone tell about the empty grave on my property, please.

Hey everyone - Vicki, I wasn't being silent - I have been at work all day. the dreaded mid shift. Just got home. I am fine - really I am. Thanks Jan for the call - sorry I couldn't answer - I was at work, but will try and call over the weekend - I work the whole weekend though - don't even get my Sunday off - boo! Too many others are off and sick right now. We have been SO busy, it is crazy. I really am much better today stuff going on that I don't want to talk about, but it really hurt me and I have to get over it and let it go. It does me no good to dwell on it so I am not going to. To do with work - hubs and I are fine!!

I am pleased that you are so happy about your trip Vicki - just make sure that you stay well and watch your sugar - please!! I expect to hear all about it when you get back!! And don't wear Ruby out either - LOL

Jan - all you really need for burial detail is clorox and glad bags....if Rubes already has the hole, we are good to go! Oh - and I am not abandoning you - I will be here for the weekend apart from work.

Rog - gosh I wish i was closer - I would be more than happy to take some of those avocadoes off your hands - I LOVE avocadoes!!! And you are right - we do always come up on our feet and learn stuff. I just wish I wasn't so naive sometimes.

Rubes - I hope that you did eventually get your nap in, or at least get an early night this evening. You will need your time away - don't let Vicki talk your ear off - have some quiet time !!!!! I too agree re the lip rings - those things make me go funny - but hey, everyone to their own.

I'm off again to wade through Aunt's house. There are 2 closets with doors that have been blocked with stuff that I got to yest. One is packed with ancient Christmas decorations, but tucked up on a top shelf in the front corner was an old cigar box, containing my grandfathers fold-out straight razors from Europe, a tintype of my GGGrandfather, a handmade pencil, handmade thread spool, and a copper smoking pipe with a homemade wooden stem. Also found newspapers, articles from the 1930's & 40's, and my grandmother's family bible. I'm getting a beautiful cedar chest today that's full, and I haven't even gone through it yet. My grandmothers wooden corner shelf and 'pretties' I remember from the 50's, and I haven't really scratched the surface yet. It's like opening a time capsule. Will catch up later.

Good morning, my dear precious family! I went to bed at 7:00 last night and woke up at 9:00 this morning! WOW! Now, I'm tired from so much sleep, but gotta get moving, gotta get something accomplished today and cook! Yesterday was leftovers because I was SO tired. I read back from the beginning of Sept. (32 pages) yesterday and I cried to read how concerned you all were about me! I have never felt so loved in my entire life. I don't know how to thank each one of you! All my life, I tried to "earn" love from family. Not only am I learning WHO I am over the last 2 years, but I have been able to be myself and I feel more loved than I ever have. It is such a wonderful blessing to have friends! Ya'll mean so very much to me! And now more tears...
Sunni, I am so relieved you are okay. I hate to see you down, you are so sweet and always put us in a cheerful mood! I pray work issues get better for you! You work so hard and such long hours. I hope they appreciate you and pay you well!
Ruby, I know that house holds so many precious items and memories for you, I just hope you are able to leave it unfinished and go to the cabin. Are you planning on going before us or waiting until we are finished with the conference Sat. at lunch? I watched your videos of your goat! It has such a sweet personality! Is it in a fence or does it just stay close to home? I would love to get one or two, but we don't have a fence on any of our 30 acres. I wish we could have a real farm with cows and chickens, etc. but Paul says we would have to fence them all in and we can't afford to do that. BTW, I promise to be quite and enjoy the peacefulness at the cabin and let you and Kelly enjoy it, but I will be excited, which tends to make me talk even more and faster. Either one of you, please don't hesitate to tell me to "SHUT UP"! Paul does it all the time. It won't hurt my feelings.

When I went to have all those tests run on my stomach, I met a lady who weighed 68 pounds and she lifted up her shirt to show me she had 2 stomach pace makers and it was such a horrible site, that it really scared me! I have lost 2 more pounds every time I go see my diabetic doctor! Lately, I have been eating 3 meals a day and I feel like I am gaining a little weight. I hope so!
Grateful, I hope and pray you are resting today! I am so sorry you had to work yesterday and have no time to do all you need to do. Just make time to pack, okay? I do hope someone will take you to the airport. I know you are anxious about flying and I hate you have to travel 2-3 hours to the airport on top of that! When I listened to all your desperate messages you left me while I was sick, I was so sorry I put you through all that worrying. I am sendng you emergency phone numbers in case that ever happens again. I was glad Paul called you and Roger, but so sorry no one got back with you. Thank you for all the cards you sent me. You are such a precious, loving friend and I love you so much!

Just in from doing yard work......dirty and nasty.....gonna take a shower and have an inexpensive dinner with Hubs somewhere.....maybe Chili's
Clay is great...he played last night even though I begged him not to, but he is fine. He is off to a sweet 16 party at a posh private club, and Grant is off to a concert....I never see them anymore...

Back, and stinky! Hubs does more work in one day than my cousin has done in a year. I was worried about getting things, afraid he would resent me, but he's throwing things out helter skelter, so when he went home with his piddly little load in his car, we loaded our enclosed trailer and truck, and my car. My aunt's middle name was Pearl, and he had left all her pearls. (at my house now) He was throwing out pictures, letters, cards, keepsakes, everything. She didn't have much furniture I wanted, and other than my grandmother's trunk, which another cousin got, I've gotten what I want and more. I'll look for Halloween deco's G. And I have TUBS full in my storage building! Don't decorate like I used to. I believe we'll finish mostly tomorrow, now to find a place for it all. Have a beautiful dining room suite I hope son will take, and my aunt's antique bed set I'm giving to my granddaughter AB. An old fashioned dresser with a huge oval mirror, she'll love it. Got through most of the drawers today, and one closet, so tomorrow morning I'm loading all the Christmas (a walk-in closet full), and I'll have the main things I want. LOTS of old glassware, serving plates, and cooking utensils I'll probably take to the cabin. Hubs will empty 2 storage buildings tomorrow. MB, I'm going to send you some of the bulbs from the flowers I'm going to dig later. Cannas should do very well there, I think, since they're semi-tropical. Just want to get the stuff I've paid for out before any more of the vultures swoop in. Oh, and lots of my grandmothers glassware, very old, and a beautiful silver ladle.
Anyway, enough about me. You all have been so patient with me talking about myself so much, and I really appreciate it. The people here really are the most caring I've ever met. Thank you.
Of to wash the stink off. It's been blessedly quiet at home. My cousin is about 6'4", a handsome guy, but he's loud and he paces constantly but accomplishes nothing. He's had a year to get out what he wants, but he's doing it with us!! I can see the smoke coming from Hub's ears!!

Hello everyone

Thanx Mama, I am trying, I feel that if maybe I try to be upbeat it will become a reality and not an act, but thank you for noticing. I do not want to bring anyone down. I worked the last three days, it was okay. My hubby is at a memorial for his brother who died in a car accident about 41 years ago when he was just 14. They do this every year, I think It is sweet. My husband gets together for Mass and dinner with his parents and brothers. His brother who was 16 at the time was driving and was high and ran a stop sign. Tragic. My husband was very young when this happened but it did change his family forever. I am thinking of all of you and would like to address each of you separately but am much too tired. I will try to stop in tomorrow before I go to train to get my baby. Yay. She is coming back home. I am trying to cut the cord but she seems to be biting it off faster than I can cut.lol... Bfn. Gina
