    so please come here ask for help ,vent ,scream and yell here before you pick up the drink ..
    i want everyone who comes into this thread know that.. here we don't judge and i would like to say this to any lurker's out there ....come in all are welcome
    WE ARE HERE FOR THE SAME REASON .. TO LEARN HOW TO LIVE WITHOUT ""ALCOHOL""... AND THAT MEANS TO TALK ABOUT WHAT WE ARE GOING THUR ,IN LIFE AND SOMETIMES WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT THE PAST.. BUT TO LOOK AT IT AND LEARN FROM IT
    so just do your best and handle what life give you sober that's all you can do at times ..and remember we are here for one another..
    so lets do this together and Move forward living life on life's terms ...
    so lets be thankful and count our blessing ..put the past behind us and learn from our mistakes and this pray helps me.. when i feel down and things aren't going as well as i would want them to go ok just kidding here the one but i do have to say god at times

            I'm back, worn out and $400 poorer. Got a feeling I could buy a damn nice boat for what this may cost me. Dentist (he has a fancy title) was a hoot tho. Even wrote on my file 'VERY nice and interesting lady. He wanted to chat, to the point I finally had to stand up and plot my escape! Hmmm, maybe I can use that to my advantage. :H
            Now to start my real day. Have been home 20 minutes, 2 phone calls already. Lord give me the strength to bear my blessings.

                OK, all you harpys, I've got an appt Tues morning with my heart specialist's PA (he's also a GP) so I can find out about renewing my arrthymia meds before all this dental work, and have her check my heel at the same time. Can ya'll think of anything else falling off of me I need to ask about? :H Hearing has recouped a little, but I'll keep on top of that. Have appt to change my contact lens (which weren't right) so once I can walk, hear, see, and bite (and won't drop dead) LOOK OUT!!! I'm coming for you heathens. Actually, daughter gave an ultimatum, not you, so I'm toeing the road, gettin' 'er done. I'll be a brand new woman! (Do they do body transplants yet??)
                Starting tomorrow, 4 days of unlimited yardsales, music, food events, for miles around, so I'll check in to let you know what treasures I find. My limit is $100, unless it's REALLY great. Can't believe there was no comment from Fen on her picture or the videoes of Sadie and Ninny. I know the rest of you are snoozing!!

                  September is here rats I guess that ends summer hope the weather holds out. I would to thank everyone for there support for Lisa and I and for you help with Greatfull she is doing well Now if only I can stop the drinking all together and get through this trial that is my goal for the month.

                    I got my ass in gear! Going for another af month!
                    I quit drinking on March 8, 2020. Taking it One Day At A Time and no more taking my quit for granted.

                    Also doing it for me. I got to stay sober for me.

                    Just consecrate on today and do what you can to remain sober for today and worry about staying sober tomorrow, tomorrow.

                          Rubes, seriously...you need to get another goat for Ninny. That darned dawg is parked by the door, pleading with you to let her out. She's not interested in befriending Ninny at all! Poor little goat.

                          And did you really have to take those pics of me when I was "relaxing"? Gosh, can't a gal let things "hang out" without having photographic evidence being posted on an international forum? :H

                            Hello all-- just popping back to say goodnight--Was out of the house almost all day which helps with not eating and also not thinking of drinking--I may have signed up for a few too many things volunteering-- a couple of the things are regular and not sporadic and i am the head of 2 of them..well-- it will be good for me-- structure is good, I just hope the other volunteers are nice and not catty like some of the ones I knew before-- I am avoiding things that a couple of those moms are in-- it feels so junior high but they LIVE for that stuff literally so I guess that explains the limited world view-- if it was all I had I might act a bit bizarre also. I am missing the Journey/Nightranger/Foreigner concert in a couple weeks due to hubs haing to go to a firm retreat in Claifornia, just found out tonight-- I am really showing my age with that era but I was looking forward to some good classic rock..haven't gone to a good show since Bon Jovi in May-I am due (ha)! Rubes-- are there good things down at the sales you are going to? I just don't have the patience I think...how are your teeth? You are on a real doc going kick-- i would literaly lose my mind if I saw that many health professionals in a row-- as you could tell from the week long headache-- I would rather be in pan than deal with a doctor (remind me to tell you my story abotu sending one a bill with my hourly rate when I worked and they kept me waiting--let's just say I never waited again but I am not sure we had the closest doc patient thing going! Man I hope I get more than 3 hours sleep tonight! Welcome back, Mama Bear too!

                              Good evening everyone - although it has been SO quiet here today - of course I was at work. got in a little while ago. Am doing a clopen so have to be up at 5.00 so no doubt I will be first here in the morning. Ruby - I laughed when I saw the list of things that you need replacing or fixing - and you think I am old!!!!! ROTFLMBO !!!! Anyway - you have my deepest sympathy - no doubt that will be me in 20 years time LOL :H
