Good morning to all my friends on this somber 10th anniversary of 9/11/01. Feeling very sad today reflecting on that tragic day that has changed our lives forever but I am very grateful to have all of you as my true friends.
Ruby...I love the pics of the wild turkeys......what is going on with your hubs and all these strange things happening to him?
It's good to see Sunny & Rubes are still at it with the "old" jokes and I'm glad to be spared from those jokes even though I probably feel older than the two put together....
Vicki is healing at the home of her parents and her daughter is taking care of her. This experience has changed her thinking and she promises not to drink or smoke or put any poisons in her body again.
She still isn't eating much....jello, soup, etc. and she goes to see her doctor again on Wednesday.
Please keep her in your prayers.

Sad day here in NY. Sad everywhere I am sure but seems a lil worse here I think, a lot of the firefighters were from the town I work in ( they commuted to the city) and almost everyone I encounter there has lost someone on that day. Have a good one all. GComment

Good Morning all - I have just put the flags out. Yes, a very sad day - Grateful, so nice to see you and thank you for catching us up on Vicki. I want to watch the ceremonies on the TV but don't think I can. I have found just what they have had on the past few days really heart breaking.
Georgie - must be awful for you too - as you said, being in NY! I can't imagine.
I think I will just go and watch some of it - to honour those we lost and commemorate them.

Been up a while here. As Georgie said, reflecting. G, I'm sure there are places today the memories are almost unbearable. One of my oldest friends was working in the Pentagon, not injured but heard it all. Someone else had a relative who was a fireman in NYC. So I'm going to take today to enjoy this beautiful weather, and the freedom to be who I am, appreciate those who have bought it for us.
Grateful, SO glad to see you back posting, and the news of Vicki. Keep us in the link, hon. Just watch out for Sunni; she may decide to go after anyone younger than herself! She's so old she farts dust, but I'll never tell.sigpic

Awwwh, Jan, remember Sun may be having trouble connecting the dots. You and I are Southern girls with delicate sensibilities, but we've raised boys so we become immune to some words.
