        Got very little sleep last night. At 11:30 Tink pulled her disappearing act again, and though I know she couldn't get out of the house, that thought kept running through my mind. I searched every room, all her usual haunts, closets that had been opened, under the beds. Hubs heard me and got up, was getting dressed to go outside when he picked up a pair of pants he'd dropped on the floor and she was under them! She does this every once in a while and it takes an hour for me to calm down.

          Ruby...you are up so early!! That is funny about Tink being under the pants...but not funny at the time for you....sorry you were worried about her...I hope you can take a nana-nap today. Fen-I am so happy for you and your Mom! It's been a long road for her-and you. Good luck with the the driving test!! BTW-what does your Mom do for work? Bless her heart!

          ATL-I hope you feel better today...it's been a long time for you. What a blessing that you will be with your friend at the birth of her baby.

          AB-congrats on day 55!! Way to go!

          And now I must get off of here....and get ready to go to work while I still have work!

            Grateful once at the cabin, I thought she'd gotten the screen door open when I couldn't find her. Searched everywhere, and we have WOODPECKERS up there bigger than her, not to mention hawks and owls, even eagles. :H She had gotten in the flap in the back of Hub's leather recliner. I had to take a valium that day!
            Have you heard from Vick recently? Worried about her. Crossing my fingers for the trip. Do you think you'll still be working then?

              Just went outside and my left back tire is as flat as a pancake. Must have run over something on the way home from carpool-- this is the second flat in 10 days! Hubs is gone so I guess roadside will have to come (it's included in insurance) and put the flat on so I can buy another tire. I should own stock in Goodyear-- my hubs and I are always running over things...at least it is not people or animals though. But now I have to miss my morning with my pregnant friend-- and I can't get her on the phone--also emailed and texted -- she has an iphone-- guess when she does not see me at 9:30 she will check. Son woke crying this morning-- said he did not want to go to school-- that is not like him at all-- he seems to think we want him to be perfect-- in 1st grade he is putting pressure on himself for spelling tests and stuff-- my heart breaks to hear it-- I don't care if he does well on spelling or anything else as long as he tries-- I think he has just had alot of changes lately and IMO he is involved in too much-- what with making new friends I was against him starting hockey hubs insisted andI think it is too much. I am sure hubs will say I am being hysterical or that I just don't want to be bothered with hockey but realy I just want Luke to have some downtime-- I am used to taking him around so what is one more place-- but he is such a sweet awesome child I do not want to see him lose confidence in himself.

                ATL-I agree with you about your son needing downtime...maybe he just needs a "mental health" day today too. Kids these days start really young feeling pressure on them...and I don't mean from you..just maybe they feel the competitiveness from the other kids. Sorry you had to miss being with your friend...if it's not one thing, it's another.

                Rubes-I haven't heard from Vicki....I think her dr. appt. was yesterday so I really need to call her today to find out what they said. I had my MRI yesterday and should hear from my dr. hopefully by tomorrow and I'll ask him about me traveling. Then I can start stressing about how to pack for all the new security procedures.....uggg. And I don't think I'll be working then...the other lady in the office and I were just talking about that and we think it's time to go on unemployment...then I can just come in 1-2 days per week as needed. She's going to suggest this to the accountant today. It's okay..I'm ready and I still have health insurance until the end of the month then I will pay to be added to my hubby's insurance in October. We're blessed that he just got hired full time and can get insurance thru his company.....see, it all works out.

                  Thanks Grateful. Let us know the MRI results please, and if you talk to Vick. ATL, I agree with Grate. All my grands should have wheel on their butts the way they stay in the road ALL the time.

                              Good Morning everyone - Congrats on day 55 Abs - wonderful!! Fen - hope all goes well tomorrow with the driving and your mom - I will be hoping for her (and you). Grateful - hang in there, everything will come together for you I am sure..... stay positive eh? Ruby - gosh, what a poem for you - but he e-mailed it to you??? Lovely anyway - read it next time you feel like getting out the clorox and the baggies! ATL - sorry you are going through sad stuff with your son - it is SO hard to see them upset - you just want to hug them to you and protect them from the world!
