    Hi Grateful...Tick Hollow is coming along well! Mrs. Fen is going away until Wednesday and I might go and hang out there for a night or two. Very quiet except for the coyotes!

    Mum passed her road test yesterday, so I don't have to get up early to take her to mass any longer...I will continue to drive her to her cardiac rehab though, as the trip involves driving on an insane highway. She graduates next week, though. :h

      Had a nice long post &lost it.:H Easier to type on this phone but slow, and it's still smarter than me. Doesn't take much! Kids have been such a big help. Do all the driving, JC cut all the grass, offered to come back and do it anytime. They've gone now to pick up dinner. Hubs is p/o'd but I needed this break. JC is SUCH a sweet kid. They brought 2 little dogs too so 3 little yappers in the house. Rog the daddy longlegs have built condos everywhere! I'm excited about the trip to, can't believe you're packing Vick. :H. Going home tomorrow, God I love having a chauffeur! May hire JC full time,wonder if he does windows?
      Yes,this IS a bigg BD for me, and for some reason it's harder than the last, but no sweat. For the next 27 days I'm still in the 50's club! No comment, Sun! :H. Now to see it this goes through!

        Fen-that's great news about your Mom...and now you can sleep in tomorrow! Have a nice, quiet time at Tick Hollow...watch out for the coyotes.

        Rubes-so glad you are enjoying the cabin with Tay & JC and how wonderful that they are helping you out!! You shouldn't worry about this BD...both you & Sun seem MUCH younger than me...it's all about how you feel, not the number-but you already know that!!! Have fun and have a safe trip home.

        And Vick....can you come pack for me????

          Quick check in family. I just haven't been on the computer at all. Feeling a little numb I guess. We will be heading out to the funeral in a couple hours. Just such a sad, sad thing.

                    Fen, I will be joining the 50 club in November. I don't really mind getting older. Like Grateful said, it's all in your mind, I still feel young and I am absolutely amazed and thankful to still be alive! Every day is a special gift from God. I'm so happy your Mom is doing so well, Fen! Grateful, I am so happy you feel better, girl! Now admit it...you are getting excited, aren't you? Don't worry about the packing, just focus on being comfortable...no dresses or heels! Ruby, will it be cold there in 2 weeks or still hot? I'm not afraid of longlegs, so I will clean up their condos! Ruby, you certainly are not getting older, only better, more wiser, more compassionate, more loving... You have a heart of gold! Nora, I am so sorrry for your loss. I need to go back and catch up, so I will know what is going on. Well, I had a great day and I am 18 days free of nicotine! I am so proud of myself! Now I am putting no poison in my body and I feel great! Next thing is an exercise program! I hope everyone has a good evening. I love you all bunches! Vicki

                        Oh, my gosh! Was she involved in a wreck? Do you know why she was taken to the hospital? Poor thing. I will be praying for her NOW! I love you, Fen!

                          No vicki - she wasn't involved in a wreck - she was having extreme vertigo and the last I heard from fen, they were giving her a CAT scan to see if she had had a stroke - they were all supposed to be going out for her birthday celebration too! I will keep you posted

                              hey everybody sending love and big hugs and prayers out to everyone ... i know its hrad when one of us is down and so everyone count in anyway..
                              if it be family friends or anyone that might need a hand up... we are here for one another .. i havent been too involed with the thread lately and im sorry but i do read every post and not always have the right thing to say ..
                              but im so please that so many come to this thread and find it to be a safe zone ..
                              where you can just let things out and off your chest..
                              so this is to anyone and everyone please come here and ask for help post and lets take about the problems that may be bothering you...
                              i cant say how many times i have needed help and didnt want to post as a sign of weakness ..
                              but in my tim e of being here at MWO ..
                              i have founded so many good and loving freinds here i have to say thankx and i love you all so keep on posting and dont be shy ..
                              love and big hugs and you all and your family's are in my prayers...
                              so lets all give thsnkx for what we have here and at home .. yeah things might go up and down but at the end of the evening all we can make is the right choise
