hey ruby and vicky i got my thum out come get me too please .. well good day here and got one bathyroom depaper and ready for mud and ready for grout then paint ..tomorrow ... hey guys and girls sorry i havent posted to everyone ... these days im really trying to push thru everything ,work sue this house .even my thought ... but im doing good so far and well something i just send love and hugs and i mean it to one and all .. well everyone hang in there remember there are some tough days and lots of easy ones too ..so just keep shifting along and make the best of it.. have a great night and hey fennel come on down we can go swimming during xmas and conoing too we arent doing gifts im just cooking a great meal and we'll be eating outside

I think this is day 67 AF for me. Have actually stopped counting...just grooving along in that regard. Have been having some depression/anxiety/anger lately. Trying to figure out healthy solutions. Have been falling back on some old patterns/habits. (Not AL...more eating disorder related.) Need to learn some better coping mechanisms...

Hi all,

My hands hurt so bad especially my right. I make a right handed gun with my fingers

and every joint ,muscle tendon that is involved is a sharp pain. I have been living on advil lately and nothing helps. I am aware of arthritis but I am in pain... And I never complain...
I have autoimmune disorder,I pray it is not spreading. g

good morning and a happy hump day ... well georgie you might think im crazy .. but i use WD40 on my hands at times just loosen them up .. my hands lock up and i come up with the next best thing .. it really works ...

Morning all. The troll is under my bridge again this morning. :mad-door: I finally told him a bit ago that until he felt better or could do more than cough, grunt, and growl, to please :xmouth: I have too much to do to run every time he whines.
Fen, seems you have so much acceptance and admiration here, it should tell you that we, strangers looking in, see so much more than your 'family' who are supposed to know you well. BTW, do you own that field in front of your cottage? I can just picture it sown in self-seeding wildflowers!! Like an enchanted fairytale cottage!
Sunni, hope things are settling a bit a work. I know you actually love most of the experience there, so you shouldn't have to deal with small people and ignorant mothers.
Rog, I told Hubs about the WD-40 and he laughed, but I bet he's tried it!
Abi, fantastic! So happy you keep checking in, and you're doing so well in your sobriety. Now, use that same will-power to conquer that eating disorder, OK?
G, is it just arthritis or rheumatoid? I do understand chronic pain, and how it seems to choose one part of our bodies to torment. Mine is both muscular and skeletal, but I have several 'hot spots'. I hope you get some relief.
Hope ATL is better today. If you're reading, STAY IN THAT BED!!
Ugh, gotta go. It's moving and mumbling again. Obviously I didn't hold the pillow down tight enough last night.

Good morning, family! I can't believe I leave in the morning! I am just so excited! Ruby, did you read the pm I sent you? I do hope hubby feels better! Aren't you leaving for the cabin in the morning? I love that clock! Even if it doesn't work, it is absolutely beautiful! Bird, you shouldn't feel like you owe anybody anything if they send you something. Just send them a thank you card! I love to give and it really frustrates me if I give somebody something and they feel they have to give me something back, even if they can't afford it! I won't mention names here! Abielle, congrats to you on 67 AF days! I'm concerned about your eating disorder though. You really need to see a doctor over that. Georgie, are you doing alot of typing? It could be that you have carpal tunnel that is causing you so much pain. I just had the surgery and it really helped! Sweet Fen, sunflowers would be beautiful and also offer more privacy to Tick Hollow! Roger, I doubt my plane would stop off at your house, but it would be great if you and Sue could come! Vick, I am leaving in the AM. Tay and I just brought home a carful of Christmas from my aunt's, and and she found a like-new doll just like one she loved when she was little (ex-B threw it away in one of her cleaning rampages). She was so tickled when I told her to get it, and some books like MIL used to read to her. She's emptying the car and sorting the decorations now. The last bags I've emptied to wash and sort for a yard sale have divulged SO many nice clothes. Jeans, sweaters, blouses, some with the tags on them. Many are Gracie's size. A beautiful Bill Blass white blouse but it's a small and my wide soulders won't fit it. ((sigh)) Could you or Grate use it? Off to finish what's in the house now (oh, Hubs is not dying or he wouldn't have wanted me to stop for a pizza for him!!), then finish packing the car. I'm sorry ya'll are going to have to ride in my 'Dog' car, but the only other I have is a 2-seater. I'll freshen it best I can! Talk soon.

Sick girl update-- this is my venture out of bed today-- I am dropping son at soccer field-- hubs had a conference call he could not get out of and none of the other moms could or would pick Luke up-- but one of them who is coming straight from her job to the field (and that is why she could not swing here-- we are not on the way) is bringing him home. The other old witches did not even respond to me at all-- and some of them are close by-- I suppose they don't want any contact with my germs--but my sweet pal Tania is going to watch over him and bring him back. Slept so much last night it was wild-- have not slept that much since college--hoping to do it again so I can improve more.

Vicki et all-- have an awesome time at Rubes-- it is gorgeous up there-- I am jealous. We thought about a mountain place but we are absentee owners of a beach place and 2 would be a little much for my anal ways.

Georgie-- I hope you find out what is wrong-- that sounds so painful!

Abi--Keep on rockin' that sobriety!

mg: It just hit Hubs I'm leaving tomorrow!! THEN he says 'is anyone else going to be there'? I told him about this MONTHS ago, even before Bird's visit. So THEN he tells me Tay is supposed to go with me. WTF!? I need to be away from ALL my family. Turns out he had given her spending money today because he thought she and I were going this weekend. That's my 'charmed' life, friends. My family only notices when I'm gone. He said 'call Tay and tell her I want my money back', and I told him that was between him and the other person who's driven me nutz the last few days, I wasn't calling, especially since he didn't remember anything about the whole trip. He'll notice too when I transer money to my account. :H
Vick and Grate, and a wonderful, uneventful, and safe flight. ATL is not that hard to navigate the airport, and you will be fine. You have my numbers, so call me when you get in, OK? Remember, I can ride to the rescue, but in a dog car and not a white hourse and carriage.
Hubs has gone to bed, I've dealt with all the renters, and am finishing my cleaning. Will pack later, though the car is full already of my new treasures for the cabin and things for daughter's family. I know I'll sleep well, since I'm tired. Oh, and lest ya'll think I've gone too long without an injury, I hurt my ankle and leg today jumping a drainage ditch on the side of the road where I was getting some wildflowers and roots. :boohoo: I'll be all healed tomorrow though, I've willed it.
Will try to post on my I-phone while I'm away, and Vick and Grate can use it too, but don't expect much from us. We're gonna be busy chilllin'! Everyone who's down or sick right now, I expect everyone to be bright-eyed and bushy tailed (especially Fen) when I get back. All of you workaholics rest, ATL stay in bed (and make a point of letting those harpies know they are fair weather friends!). So sorry you had to get out, but I hope you're back in bed and hubby is taking over the load. Insist on it, sugar. MB, get in the car and come on for the weekend. We'll all wish you were all with us. And take lots of pictures, if youse guys can stand them. Will fly by in the AM, I hope.
