    3rd September

    He's just walked in.

My little lass and her BF have just rented an unfurnished flat and they've bought a mound of stuff.
They've been sleeping on 2 inflatable mattresses for over a week.

Their first real home, oooooooooh I'm getting a bit teary.

It feels like only last week I was walking around like a pregnant elephant and she's 25 on Thursday :upset:

      good evening to the Army!

Mrs A - your running times and achievements are stupendous!!

Molly - have you got some spare Shepherds pie for my breakfast? It is just what I feel like eating!!

I'm not usually up at this time on a Sunday morning, but this morning I am flying back home this morning from a family event and the cheapest flight was at a ridiculously early time. And it is my Mum's 87th birthday tomorrow and we are celebrating it today!! So I'm just checking in here while I have my shower and catch a taxi to the airport

        Aww Molls,

I just spoken to her and you can hear the excitement in her voice. We've given her some money for her birthday but the rest has come out of their savings.

Honest I'm that proud I could burst.

Shepherds pie in the oven, teenager humping cos I wouldn't let him out last night, Molly, that just doesn't sound right. I guess you have a different meaning for the word "humping" than we do. Well I hope you do....

I think Mr JC has got lost in IKEA with the daughter. They've been gone hours and hours and hours and hours.Ah but it's very easy to spend a whole day and more there...

Wos only there once Jacks, but you'd need google maps to get out of it
That's what I thought the first time I visited and IKEA store. I kept going around in circles and when I finally found out where the cash registers were, there were so many people in line at all of them that I had a panic attack. It was so crowded you couldn't even get near the line you go through when you have no purchases. I'd only a few and left them because of the crowd. It was totally overwhelming.

Back from my Saturday race. Got a new PB ran nearly a minute faster than last week and set a new record for my age group. (only in Liverpool )My liver must be very happy.

Mind you Mrs A is still grumpy.
Congrats on once again making a new record Mrs. A. I'da thought you'd have lost your grumpiness after a run like that...

Hi Georgie - good to see you.

And a great big :hallo: to Missy B. I know your trip isn't for a happy event but I hope positive things will come out of it. Meeting up with some family members, if I remember well. Hope you enjoy that part of it. And treat yourself to something nice. And

Mrs A - are you a natural runner, or have you had to work up to it slowly?? I ask because I am heading into triathlon season and I can swim and bike with little effort, but running is a real chore these days. You sound like you are one of those blessed people that can run like the wind!!

Miss B - Mrs. A makes the Roadrunner look like he's standing still. She's amazing. And she's only been running for a relatively few number of years. Makes the rest of us look like arse mould. (That's what I used to call Mr. Stirly because he never wanted to get up and go anywhere. Just sit around after work and watch TV til bedtime.

Just a quick check-in. I'm staying up at Pam's for the weekend... decided to get out of dodge yesterday and have a "staycation" at her house. She's having a dinner party tonight and a few mutual friends will be there. I'm just about to get her daughter to dye my hair and get gussied up (and then ruin it all toiling over a hot stove probably!!!)
Hey Zennie-butt - didn't expect to see you tonight cause you said you'd be at Pam's for the weekend. Good to see you.

You may want to second think that hair dye idea. Nothing worse than brown sweat rivulets running into your eyes and melting your mascara when you're trying to cook. You'll end up looking like a raccoon in heat...

I understand tho'. Best not to let them see anything so as to avoid unnecessary questions. Hope you have a smashing time. Let us know what's on the menu if you get a chance to.
