Welcome home EW, didya bring me a stick of rock.

Well I went to the doc this morning about that blooming itchy little thing on me back. Although he still doesn't think it's anything sinister he's referring me on to a specialist. Not going to over think this as I'll get meself in a stew.

Visited my first place this morning. Drop in for drug/alcohol users. It gives 2 hot meals a day or just a cup of tea. Showers and washing facilities. A washing machine and dryer. Referral to hostels, re-habs. The list is endless.

Unfortunately they've had 2 deaths on the streets over the weekend. Both young men aged 27, one from alcohol and the other drugs/alcohol.

Next one's at 1.15pm.

Didn't actually find any rock in Lanzarote, but I did look. I have a lovely tan though

Wow - so you're doing some drop-ins? That's AWESOME! Sorry to hear about the deaths - have been thinking of doing something similar myself but will wait until I have a couple more months under my belt I think.

Pretty good EW. Finished up redoing a bathroom that started from a leaky pipe. Looks a lot better.

Oh, and as regards the new diet. I weigh exactly the same as I did yesterday. Hrumpf. I knew I should have had someone hold my hair up while I stood on the scale.

Evening All,

Well that was a busy day and I loved every minute of it. Second place I visited was way off what I thought it was all about.

Reading from the leaflet......... it's an award winning education, training and employment centre, offering practical and creative workshops in a supportive and inspiring environment.

So as well as being able to refer people to them, I'm signing up for one of their workshops. Don't know what yet as the new term doesn't start for a couple of weeks and it's FREE.
