    If I didn't have a treat now and again I'd go into deprivation mode and end up with face down in a tub of ice cream.

                Hello everyone
                The festival sounds lovely JC!
                Pretty chilled out day here. We spent as much time outside as possible. Hung out at the local park so the little one could play with all his friends and I sat in the sun with a book. I think I might just have got a wee bit "tan". Well, there is some colour now.
                Reddish-pink.
                Better than sheet white.
                There's a lovely mother of one of the little boy's my son plays with who has been at the park lately. They run the Indian restaurant in town-I took a picture of piglet in front of it. We finally started talking while our kids were playing (they are also in the same class at school) and she asked me if we could speak English because her French is horrible. They speak Tamil at home. There are not many people from India here and she told me how homesick she is. I don't know much about the Indian culture but I love to hear her stories about home. We are very different-you guys know about me! Divorced and then love child. She does not work and is very much married and revolves around her family and elderly in-laws who live with them. But she's lonley and craves "girl talk". I'm enjoying my sober life and it's nice meeting other expats and learning about their cultures. Off to google stuff about Southern India and then go to bed.
