Dewdrop: I can't really add to what the others have said - so sorry for your loss.

      Good evening, Army

Tired (in a good way) here. Did a hell of a lot of stuff outside, but at least the fruits of my labours are visible. SA won it's match against Wales - just barely. The shops weren't too crowded afterwards. I guess because so many people were using the rugby as an excuse to get pissed early on in the day.

Will have a late(-ish) start tomorrow morning, which is a nice feeling - not having to go to sleep knowing that the alarm will be going off at 5.00.

      How was everyone else's weekend?

Thank you everyone for your very kind thoughts, it's been an emotional rolle coaster here today but I've managed to get through it. The next few days wil be difficult as we sort out the funeral and they face more family and friends, it's all very sad and I feel a bit helpless. Without MWO I'd be in a really bad place by now - thanks :h
Enjoy today - there will be no other one quite like it....

          Dewdrop,

I'm sure I speak for the rest of the Army and well as myself and say you're more than welcome.

You just shout out if you need any one of us, OK.
It could be worse, I could be filing.

So we went to the Mela and I did fill my fat face with 2 sorts of chicken curry, half a vegetable samosa, half an onion bahji, some chick pea and potato thingy, mixed salad with minty yoghurty stuff all over it. And a luvverly naan bread the size of the planet. I shall prolly not need anything else to eat for at least another hour.

I'm afraid I caught Mr JC cheering for Wales. He'll be fine once he gets over his black eye and slight limp.

Sounds lovely, JC. The food that is - not Mr. Jc's injuries. Although I do appreciate your loyalty

                yoooooooooo hoooooooooo Zens,

They have one in most of the major cities in the UK

The Mela is a free event, based around Punjabi, Pakistani, Bengali and Hindi and other South Asian cultures, and is open to anyone who wants to learn more, be entertained and meet new people as well as enjoy different music, art and food in the heart of Newcastle. With a line up including the hottest contemporary Asian acts as well as traditional displays of music and dance it's an event likely to appeal to all ages and races.

I just switched to the rugby and they've got the Ireland-USA game on??? I already know the bloomin' score to that one! Is the SA-Wales game still going?
The SA-Wales game was hours ago.
