Okay...
So everything?everyone you meet or have ever met; everything that happens *to* you, near you; things that you do, things that are done to you by others...there is a lesson to be learned. Here's the lesson I have learned today.
1) It's good to be honest, regardless of the consequences.
2) When the dogs are barking at your door (ooh! metaphors!) sometimes it's best to sit in silence, and STFU.
3) MOST IMPORTANTLY: It's time to "grow a pair", laugh in the face of injustice no matter what the outcome, and MOVE ON.
