    Army Thread Thursday 15th September

    You're right there.

Trouble is sometimes I tie meself in knots trying to see other peoples points of view and if I don't agree I'll say nowt.

So I'm still people pleasing to the nth degree.
It could be worse, I could be filing.

Mario, hand on heart I reckon I'd be 6 foot under by now with MWO.

              Evening Army
Just got finished homework with my son. My heart bleeds for him being severely dyslexic. Just to write a sentence is a huge undertaking for him. I know he gets so frustrated. I have been doing research on internet to try to understand and help him the best I can. Also trying to find a specialist in Paris. I would love to spend more time on MWO but there are not enough hours in the day what with work, house, kids etc.:upset:
I guess that's why I stick with you lads in the Army. And piglet too of course.
I just can not keep up with all the other posts and threads. Though the undies have become dear to my heart too. :h

I suppose one cant live on memories alone and for some its time to move on, quite understand that to.

Maybe it has to do with the change of seasons or something. After all, we're moving into Fall, with shorter days and longer nights. And the end of summer is not always the best time for people. And I have to admit that I'm a guilty party as well. I sometimes read a thread that I should post on to congratulate someone on so many days or months AF but I've got something that I must do first and then forget about it. It's important that we show our support tho' and I'll try to be better at it in the future. Thanks for your message.

I find that a bit sad too Mario. What used to bother me more was when someone got more congrats for post count than someone who had reached 30, 60, etc days.

Watch the space in the next few days for Red67 and Abielle achieving 60 days.
RC - I agree with you 100% and as I said above, I'm guilty of doing the same thing.

Thanks for the head's up about Red67 and Abielle. Abielle, especially has been going through a rough time work-wise and good for her for not caving in...

Do you know I love reading some of the really old threads from yonks ago. Peeps were a lot more vocal then.
Jackie, I recently went back looking for something and although I enjoyed reading the older posts, it struck me how many of our members no longer post and it got me to wondering how they are and where they are. It made me a little sad, too. There were some members whose posts were always a pleasure to read - caring, informative and well thought out. IMHO, we really need those people to be posting here again.
