It was a Seborrhoeic Keratosis (also known as a Seborrhoeic wart) to give it's Sunday name.
The very important doctor had to burn it orff using liquid nitrogen and it didn't half hurt. Felt a bit sickly after so had to have a wee nanna nap.
But it's gone.
Sunny-butt - good to see you and that you're back on track. You can do this. Ask RC about trying to lose that weight, she might have some suggestions for herbal aids or something. I know one thing, that eating very little is not the answer. Better to eat what you regularly do but cut back on the portions and something that is very important is to balance out the protein and fats in your diet. If you eat too little fat, your body will convert any sugar you eat - even the sugar in fruit - to fat. This according to my son who has a friend seeing a dietician at the moment. It's a matter of what foods you eat together. Fruit should be combined with proteins. I cut back on white foods - sugar, spagghetti, potatoes, rice and bread and only eat whole wheat. I really didn't change my diet much except that I've stopped eating mayo and margarine, and now get my oils only from EVOO, avocados and almonds. I lost 3-1/2 kilos without even trying. Oh, and oatmeal is really good for you and gets you off to a good start in the morning. Stir in a little honey, cinnamon and ground almonds and it will keep you feeling full for hours. Then on the other hand, you could do what Jackie's doing and go super low fat, stuff yourself with salads and regular food but with lower fat content and lose about a kilo a week...
Tipster - thanks for the tip but Reccie says he likes the expression on my new avatar and since that upside down girl looks a little crazed, I'll stick with this new one til I feel wacked-out enough to go with the other one.:H
Mrs. A - I took a wee tour of Chester myself. Looked like a very nice place to shop. Glad you enjoyed your outing.
ExPatty - things will even out hun, it is after all, the first week back. It takes time for things to fall into place. For every 60 seconds that you are angry, you lose a minute of happiness.

My daughter was teeny weeny one too but not as teeny weeny as yours RC. 5lbs 14oz.
She's now 5' 8" and coming to get fed.
She's a tall one too then. I think mine is just a bit taller than that judging by her eyes to mine. It's nice your daughter lives close JC. Mine is about 2 hours away.

They're now 6 foot and 6 ft 1/2" respectively. Lord knows they ate enough growing up to get there. However, I'm proud to say that they watch their weight and older son especially, is very careful about what he eats. He learned to cook by himself and I must say that some of the dishes he's made puts me to shame. As does his kitchen. It's so fecking tidy, it looks like an ad for Home and Garden magazine. Younger son, on the other hand, learned to cook by himself as well and makes a hell of a mess when doing so. Luckily, in his kitchen, not mine...:HFor every 60 seconds that you are angry, you lose a minute of happiness.
