    Magnesium Alert

    Talking about supplements :upset::upset::upset: Wowzzzaaaaa!! Please, my dear friends, be very, very careful about taking magnesium. It's, how shall I say, a barn-burner, er, a house-cleaner, er, a green-apple-trotter, er, a trip to the moon on gossamer wings (wait that's a Broadway tune), anyway it "does the job" so be careful!!!!

    That's all I can say at this time.
    Ask yourselves, would you rather be a non drinker with an occasional desire to drink or a drinker with a constant desire to stop doing it?

        Hi Canucks! Yoga night tonight, the instructor keeps telling us that being inverted is great for the organs... I need to do double time upside down LOL... I should spend a night on my back... gotta cleanse this liver!

        Those darn Skittles! Jeesh, anything to keep my mouth busy basically. Today the anxiety bit high, making veggie tacos and planning on a modified apple crumble (basically an apple microwaved with sugar/splenda and cinnamon mix) Mmmmm!

        Sounds like you guys are having sober and safe night and racking up those AF days. Congrats!

          Morning Canucklings!

          Rise and shiiiiiine!
          Truck is back and get this... after Mr. Wonderful charged the battery at the cop shop and started the truck up... no alternator warning light. He took everything apart, cleaned connections, put a spell on various cables (or whatever it is you do under that hood) and the alternator seems to be just fine. Which is just as well, because the one he bought at Crappy Tire is the wrong one. Hope they'll take it back at our nearest store. Anywho.. I'll give it a whirl and putter into town.

          Other than that.. nuttn new and exciting. More work on the schedule. Have a happy Tuesday, yaw'll!!!

            I'm having a sloth of a day ... got next to nothing done today and am just barely conscious. In a real fog. Thankfully, the drink has nothing to do with that

              Junior used to breed rabbits... truth be told they did a fine job of breeding all by themselves... but yeah... they've either got astonishing stamina or a really bad memory :H

                  Actually, this winter (gawd, don't let this come back to bite me in the ass) has been very tame in comparison to most others thus far. Good. I hope it stays that way.

                    Dear Sunshine GG, may I please request that you do not put comments like this on the thread again. You know you are tempting fate and you may not have noticed but there are a few more of us up in the Great White North. If there is a brutal snowstorm next week or snow in May I am going to blame you. I am going to drive up to wherever it is that you live and dance on your head.

                          Traditions also extend to saying on the first of each month: "A pinch and a punch for the first day of the month; white rabbit!" White rabbit is declared to be the "no returns" policy on the "pinch and the punch" the receiver felt. A small concession exists, for recipients of the "pinch and a punch", where white rabbit declaration (no returns) is not made. Recipients may in this case reply with "A flick and a kick for being so quick." In some areas, it is simply, "Pinch, punch, first the month, no returns back!" Additionally, there is a way to defeat the white rabbit/no returns declaration. This is by introducing magic mirror glue. The following is an example of such a play, Person 1: "Hey X, a pinch and a punch for the first day of the month; white rabbit!" Person 2: "Not happening Y, I declare Magic Mirror Glue, today's punches and kicks bounce off me and stick to you!" Person 2 is then free to pinch/punch/kick said instigator

                            Ok, so I'm out of here for one day and look what happens! Kindergarten :H:H

                            How wonderful to see all the laughs though. :H 'Member how we all used to think we were funny as hell when we were drinking! Now we can be funny, amusing, wry, witty, or just plain silly all day long - and we're sober!!

                            I'm out of Topa :upset:.....think all is well though. My pal in Tenn has not called to tell me the River shipment has arrived....so slow....heaven only know where it is....so have to be patient. The Mr. does not offer me wine anymore, God bless him. And I'm taking my good old GABA regularly to keep me nice and calm.

                            I've also got a new interest. Trying to lose that last 10 lbs so I can fit into my skinny clothes for our trip in April. Found a new web blog - guys name is Peter Attia. Check it out - he's quite the hottie....and some good health/fitness/what the heck to eat stuff. And my step daughter and I are having fun with tracking what we eat, and planning menus and other good stuff.

                            Tomorrow is my BIG DAY. One calendar month....but I'm going to wait until the exact day - and not anticipate......have a good one everybody in YAW'LL-LAND :h (that's kinda like la-la-land eh?)

                              'Tis a boootiful day here, akshually! The sun is out and it's above freezing (Yeehaw!) and the birdies are singing and... ya know, I think I'm feeling betters today :H

                              And I have AWESOME news! Probably somewhat incomprehensible and irrelevant to the rest of ya.. but... Whooohooo! Riding season starts in 2 months! YES! A friend of mine and I booked into a 2 day clinic near Barrie for April with Chris Irwin. He's a very renowned trainer and has helped me a ton with Atlas last Spring. My darling horse used to rear and disassemble stall walls, a complete train wreck in the barn. Believe it or not, one session with Chris and I've never seen that sort of behavior again. It sounds like hype, I know, but that one day has changed my relationship with my horse forever. So, I'll be doing 2 private sessions with him, I'm thinking ground work refresher on the first day, under saddle on the second. The only cringe factor is that this will turn into an $800+ weekend. Yikes. Thankfully, though, the actual clinic is already paid for... that was my Christmas present to myself... a 'membership' with a $1000 credit.

                              And now, it's 1pm and I've got f*ck all done work wise.. I've been puttering in the barn half the morning (so much more fun!)... getting REALLY close now... there's a chance the horses will come in tonight

                                OH my so many threads and comments and not enough time. No thanks, to the pinches and punches especially if they'z comin from Wally! GULP!! is right Zenny.:H

                                Yes please, to the continued nice weather, except that my roof is leaking already. Having someone come tomorrow to remove 4 inches of ice if the mildness today doesn't cause it to come crashing down. Joys of owning a house and being single.

                                Nice on the clinic there GG. Are you going to come this way in the fall for the Agonquin trail ride?
