Gardening! Oh.. soon, right? Or soon-ish, at least? Gosh, this morning was just BOOOTIEFUL... almost felt like getting the garden rake out! Unfortunately, it didn't get hung up in the garage in the fall, so it's frozen in time. Well, place.

I'm happy to report the boyz have weathered their first night in the TajMahorse, had a mighty run and buck fest when they got out this morning, and are now back snug and safe in the barn for their second night. Life is good.

I had a ROTTEN sleep last night... I'm gonna catch that damn sleep fairy and duct tape her to my bed... IF she ever shows up again. Anywho.. that's it, that's all from me. I'm thinking a bath, a cup of tea, and Heartland tonight

That last pic is really neat GG. What did you do differently? The Taj Mahorse has the same roofing as my home. The one that leaks. Bet the barn don't. When can I move in???

And RC where did you get all that snow? We still have naught eh.

As for the facial hair I have been going to this amazing Brazilain woman here in the big smoke for my eyebrows. She says to me...Tom Sellick look is so over. Man that woman can rip a strip. She is ruthless.

RC... your pictures are GORGY! However, I'm glad that's your yard and not mine :H Miss Mia sure looks right at home... very happy for you! As for the barn... the last picture there was taken in bright bright sunlight... that's why everything looks a bit washed out. The roofing is 'dark red' (really, not dark at all!) steel over plywood.

Here's to a nice Monday evening, hope everyone is enjoying theirs. I am just relaxing here and catching up on the weekend posts. Love to come here after long day and see what everyone is doing, what you all are doing to stay AF. I am coming up to 30 days but don't feel great, I've really just turned to food and I'm little worried that's just distraction/new coping behaviour. As I write this, I realize it is just temporary... I am working my way into making better decisions. Better a donut in my hand than a bottle! sigh, now I want a donut LOL.

I see my counsellor on Wednesday and will talk to her about this. Onwards and upwards!

Bet you look great Sid, Tom Selleck is over! (I think, haven't seen him since he was dating Monica on Friends) ;-)

Well gals that got my attention :h

I've been sort of topagroggy for the past while so have not been posting but say, not going to pass up a chance to talk about my man Tom Selleck....gotta tell ya this is a coincidence because The Mr. and I were just talking about who we thought was hot years ago....and I did NOT say much because he was feeling a little down and I didn't want to hurt his feelings - he's kinda short and kinda bald....but I wanted to yell: TOM SELLECK IS THE HOTTEST THING ON THE PLANET, ALWAYS WAS, ALWAYS WILL BE, NOW AND FOR ALL TIME!!!!!!!

Is he still around? We don't watch shows on TV, just keep it around for movies and such but I'll bet he's just as handsome - just wrinkly eh? Aren't we all? Speaking for myself that is :H

Just can't keep up with all the posts - move too fast for my ole topacoma head! But from what I can skim through everyone seems to be doing fine - love the pics!!!

Funny thing - the last day or two I've actually been feeling like this not drinking is foolish - after all why can't I have the odd glass of wine? You know, special occasions and such? And maybe just to be social when The Mr. has a glass? But thank goodness my MEMORY kicked in - I was able to recall all the headaches and fuzzy heads, the sitting on the john in the night, and sweats, the not remembering what the heck - or how the heck I got home....and on and on :upset: - and that put me back into reality!!!!!

And then I thought I'd better get on here just to say hi to yaw'll :h:h Have a great Tuesday everyone!!!!

Howdy, Canucklings!

Ask me what I did tonight? Go ahead! I dare ya!

I've spent 1 1/2 hours chasing horses up and down 2 roads :durn:
I decided to not 'lead' them to their stalls tonight but let them go on their own (since it worked just fine in the opposite direction this morning)... what I hadn't counted on was Atlas jumping the split rail fence in the back and Trouble following his lead. The rope fence we put up last Saturday worked great, though :H

My neighbour (cop) happened upon us and helped block off the road ahead of me... Mr. Wonderful was behind me... and so the horses left the road and headed off into the bush :H

My saving grace was a hand full of scotch mints Once I got close enough (again), Trouble finally clued in on what that clacking noise was coming from my hand and that was that. I only had to catch one. He's probably getting the riot act read as we speak: "MINTS! You and your bloody mints! We coulda been off the island by now.. but noooooooo... you had to get some MINTS!"

GG, what a night you've had! Running herd on Trouble and Atlas, atta girl. Bet that's the kind of thing that could drive a lady to drink! Glad to hear you got 'em home, I laughed about the Scotch mints... you're right, Atlas is probably giving him heck still.

Seems like people are doing well, I wanted to take a picture of our beautiful sunny day but was stuck in the office. Guess I have to pay the bills somehow, some days though, boy I wish I worked somewhere else. Do people get paid to pet cats (happy cats, non-scratchers)?
I've got a lot of work stress and this head out of my ass (being AF) thing gets to me sometimes. I was starting to think ahead and had to immediately stop the thoughts. I have Friday this off and I started trying to make deal with myself; "just get through till then and maybe you can drink Thursday night, or Friday afternoon.. you'll have time to recover, it won't hurt" But it will! So its funny how my AL planning brain tries to sneak in. Not going to let it and made plans to keep me busy. And knowing I could come here and vent this helped sooooo much!

MWO lady and everyone else, stay strong from that weasley little voice. We're in charge!

Wally, your place is cute. I have a deck on the back that looks over the little big pond. Always wanted a house with a wrap around porch.

GG just where did those horses think they were making off too??? I'd say they're ungrateful beasts after all that work to make them the TajMahorse. Glad they're safe and sound though. That must have been a bit frightful.

RC... me too.. Mr. Wondernose and I seem to be passing the cooties back and forth here. Grrrr. I made some lovely turkey soup last night... want some?
