Hello my fellow Northern Numbnuts!

Well, I give up.
I officially acknowledged the arrival of winter today and removed fall decorations from the barn. And... wait for it.... replaced them with xmassy stuff. Jawohl. That's a first for me. Normally, decorating for Christmas comes a week before (at best). I sure hope the horses appreciate it :H

So, I doddled around at the barn for what seemed forever today and now, I'm stuck working. As in working working. A whole bunch of unexpected stuff came up yesterday so I never got around to what I had set out for the day. Hrmpfh.

How's yaw'll? Oh.. I almost forgot... it's white out. Like over an inch of white.

Please, somebody write of tropical beaches and delicious cabana boys named Lorenzo!

I hate to brag but so excited. My niece lives in Central America and I've booked a four week trip for the whole month of January. Not a moment too soon apparently, it snowed here last night. Did I tell you I hate winter?

Well, folks and folksettes... it is white out and it looks like it's here to stay. Ack. Well, it was inevitable, I suppose... I may as well quit whining. Interestingly, the horses are still staying outside, if given the choice. So, unless (or until) we get to -20 and blizzards, their stalls stay open so they can come and go as they please. Spoiled rotten, they are.

That's it that's all from me... must shuffle off. Night night!

Greetings Canucks and Canucklettes!

Ya know... I'm starting to get the feeling that summer is over. *nod*

I'm stuck in my driveway. Which is kinda ridiculous, seeing that I drive a big ass 4x4 truck. However, my 4-wheel drive stick thingie is stuck and last time I muscled and slid my way into the drive way, the snowplow was right behind me... aaaaaand deposited a good foot and a half of snow behind me. So, that's that. At least until tomorrow.. when Mr. Sun is gonna fire up the tractor and move some white stuff. After that I'm hoping he'll put my truck on the hoist and lubricate the hell outta whatever is stuck.

Other than that, I'm busy as heck and have had little time to check in here (or clean, do laundry, go pee, etc.).. how about the rest of ya?

Hi fellow freezing Canucks!! We're expecting freezing rain on top of about a foot of what's here already so I've got to get out early...but hey it's almost the darkest day of the year and after that: spring!!

That's how I keep my head out of the gas oven...I keep expecting spring just around the corner!!

I'll be starting baclofen as soon as my River shipment arrives and I go cross border and get it. So looking forward to it. Sorry for being so long winded - anyway good morning all.

I've begun the countdown...tomorrow will be the darkest day and every day thereafter it will be lighter and lighter.

I've been in such a fog - my husband informed me yesterday that Christmas Day is NEXT WEDNESDAY!!!! How the heck does this happen? All of a sudden there it is - and I'm not in the mood at all.

So I guess I'd just better GET in the mood...happy almost spring with Christmas looming to all!!! :H
