    Helllloooo fellow Canucks!

    Are ya cold 'n wet like me? Stirls, we're down to 9Celsius during the day and frost overnight now. *shudder*

    Well, 'twas an exhausting weekend but we did get quite a bit accomplished (not nearly as much as we hoped, though).

    This weekend's progress:

    Back of the barn


    Side of the barn


    And round pen


    And last night we visited grand peanut #2 who, true to form, slept for 99% of the time we were there. What a ball of fire that one is, I tell ya :H



    Well, that's it for me... back to work 'n such. Stirls, as always, thank you for your patriotic pictures... but say... is Barbie's ass getting fat!??? :H

        GG that barn must have an indoor arena? It's huge! Glad you got lots done and yes Peanut #2 is a doll.

            Good morning Canucks! I can't believe I heard the F word on the radio this morning! I knew it was coming but not this soon. What were they thinking?? Flurries??? Next thing you know, it will be the S word. It's all over then......

            GG I would love a personal coach to kick my butt into gear. How goes the smoothies?

              You're right, that is one huge barn. And Peanut#2 is adorable.

                Good evening Canuckleheads

                I'll warn you up front, this may turn into a bit of a rant. If you really want to stick around you'd better grab a snack.

                My daughter 'thinks' she may be pregnant. Again. At 20, this time. With another b/f. And somehow, the world should rejoice.

                She has NO education (courtesy of baby #1 and her quitting College during her pregnancy), NO job, NO money, not even a couch to sit on, lives off of Welfare and consistently needs to borrow money before the next government cheque comes in... and she's in a position to bring another child into the world?????

                I don't think her current relationship is going to last (they've already broken up once in the first few months), the overjoyed father-to-be is a 'Sandwich Artist' at Subway (that's what? Minimum wage, right?) Never mind the fact, that any faint hope of her going back to school, etc. is rapidly slipping away.

                She is (or was) a bright, intelligent girl. I don't know what happened. Is she really going to be a career welfare mum???

                Don't get me wrong, I love peanut to bits. I love HER to pieces. But I don't know how I can nod and smile to this. I really don't.

                      Hello there, queen of herbs! Have the troops deserted us???

                      Thanks for letting me vent yesterday. Not feeling any better about any of this today, though. FB says, my daughter is now engaged. To the sandwich artist, I presume. I seriously think he's a stump. IQ of 5. Although, this isn't about him, it's about the utterly ridiculous choices of Missy. Well, in any case.. I can't change it and I suppose I have let her to live her own life.

                      In other news, and this being a Canadian thread 'n all... I'm officially pegged for becoming a 'real' Canuck. Yep, on November 10th I get to affirm an oath to her majesty, Queen Elizabeth II. And a citizenship court judge will be available to pose for pictures after the ceremony :H Oh dear lord.

                      Ok.. it's 10:30 and I'm pooped.. been a long day. Hello to the late stragglers and good night!

                        Herbs--you can ingest them, drink them and smoke them and you don't need a prescription. How good is that??:H

                        Really sorry about your daughter's choices GG. It sure doesn't seem like it will add up to a fulfilling life at this juncture. I hope that the right people will come into her life to guide and inspire her at some point. Of course, your wisdom and experience would benefit her but let's face it most of us have to walk our own walk and grow from the experience. You keep being healthy, happy and successful and be the example.

                        Jeez I hope that didn't sound preachy.

                                I had my very well built and all round nice torture master here again... with all the lovely exercises he picked for today, I wonder what I did to piss him off! :H Crimety, he made me hurttt!
