Well, he WAS back this morning... apparently, he took off again. I even woke Bubbles up and made her come to the barn with me to 'meet Boris'... but... well, he was nowhere to be found again. Bubbles was not impressed

So, I hope he will stick around after all. He certainly knows where the food & water is. And if he ever stays long enough for me to take a picture, I will show him off proudly

Stirly, thanks for the kind words. People think Canada isn't as bad off as other countries. I'm afraid the worst is still coming. I sure hope I can "rev" things up with my business. How are things with you?
Off to Ottawa tonight for a marketing seminar sponsored by a supplier. They are paying me mileage! Hope to come back with renewed optimism and fresh information.

Oh, oh, I had 3 dear in my back yard as I drove up last night. A doe and 2 fawns. I sat snapping pics for like 15 minutes but they didn't turn out so well in the dark. Will see if I can post the best ones.

Ok, they don't show up as well in photobucket as they do on my computer. So, I've fiddled with this one but I don't have time to edit the others. She is about 25 feet from me. Sowy.

I have a very spoiled house/barn/really-anywhere-she-pleases cat named Bubbles and now an official mouser for the barn - Boris!

I just had a lovely visit with grand peanut #2 and his mum - it was their first visit to our house. And now, I should probably get some work done, seeing I've goofed off all afternoon. Sigh.

Oh.. and there's white stuff outside :upset:

BOY this is a long thread, whew! Great idea for starting Sunni and hi all you fellow Canuckles. I had no idea so many of you were great white northerners. Ringing cedars, been an admirer of yours for a long time...so smart. And all others it's nice to see so many of us are above the tree line lol! I hope to check in here more often...

Ok, I need to get off these drugs :H Actually, I need another dose - really did a number on my back last night *ugggh* It's been coming, I suppose. Stacking the hay probably didn't help any, either. Btw Stirls... yes, I had help with everything (loading/unloading/stacking) but I did my fair share.

I just wanted to give a quick :hallo: here - I'm off to take another pill and lay down for a bit. We have a full schedule this weekend and I better get myself sorted or I'll be no help whatsoever.

Oh.. and good news... there's considerably less white stuff than this morning! Yay! Still need to put up my signs in the yard

Hiya StirlyGirly! Thanks for the "likes". I moved my store in May and eliminated the healthy bulk and packaged foods for the most part. Mass market dummies "cherry picking" for profit makes it hard to compete. It was time for me to take it to another level. I should have done this two years ago. Hopefully with the artistic flair of GG I'll save the sinking ship. Times are tough as you know. How are you making out in your biz?

GG-Ima gonna camp out in the no snow zone! Dream on, eh. It's actually very mild, thank God, for this time of year.

Hope your back co-operates for your to do list this weekend. Don't forget the horizontal chair position for rest. It really relieves the stress on the muscles.

Supper about ready here. Lasagna and grilled veggies. First time I've cooked in several days, if you consider frozen foods cooking. :H:new:

I think I'm losing my Magda. I've taken her through so many health issues and I hope she makes it through this one. I think someone poisoned her. She was puking chinese food two days ago and won't eat and drinks very little. I'm trying to get fluids (herbal concoction) into her with a turkey baster but not very successful thus far. :upset:
