      2. All idiots, after reading #1 will try it.

      3. And discover #1 is a lie.

      4. You are smiling now because you are an idiot.

      5. You soon will forward this to another idiot.

      6. There is still a stupid smile on your face. I apologize about this, but I'm an idiot, and I needed company.

On the A/F bandwagon this month. Would be wonderful to actually have the discipline to achieve my goal. Today is almost done (for me anyway) so day one completed. Early dinner of ricotta/spinach stuffed manicotti served and no wine for me. Now it's tea time.

Glad to be back giving it the old college try.

I'm afraid the most mighty wind wouldn't be able to help my game :H

Outlook just reminded me that my vet is coming this afternoon *uggh* That'll be a $500 bill or so (at least) and then a follow up in 2 weeks :upset: All I can say is "Ouch!"

Anywho... it does look like a fairly bright day out there, albeit a bit on the nipply side. So, I better haul my arse off to the barn and start my day.

Make it a good one, guys 'n dolls!

Good morning, Canuckles. Sitting here looking at the river enjoying my last coffee of the morning. We are busy at home getting the cottage rejuvenated from the winter. We still have snow in little piles because of the fact that we are in a valley. Waiting to rake the little patch of lawn when it melts.

Hubby has decided that he needs his homemade wine and it's coming home tonight. Yes, I know it takes a month to make but it's a long story. The new compromise is that he keeps it in the basement. The basement is a semi-crawl space that is accessed through a trap door so it's not someplace I would be tempted to go unless I was desperate. Oh well, I have sure made progress with my drinking and hope to continue. ODAT. Still have the occasional glass of wine but I think my days of joining the 30 days AF crowd are over. I am a bit of a farce as I say I'm going to abstain for the month, then within a day or so, we sit down to a nice meal and voila, I have a glass. The GOOD news is that it's only a glass now. I, at least, have enough self-discipline to stop there. Spending time here is the reason. I am very aware of each sip. So slowly but surely is my path to controlling the beast. for now anyways.

I hope you all have wonderful days and Sunshine, thanks for keeping this thread going. Your horsey stories really are interesting. Great life you live. Lots of hard work but fulfilling from what I can ascertain.

                      xoxo

Yo Canucks! Mrs Tipps--your days of whatever are only over when you say they are over. Jump into any challenge you want if you have a desire too...It's a challenge--I bet if I get a dictionary meaning of it--it does not guarantee a foregone conclusion...each time you commit to a challenge with sincerity you gain a little or alot imo. Wine in the stinky, spidery root cellar??? ewwww that is all

Sorry for my prolonged absence... peanuts and other creatures have kept me busy! :H
Delish AF Easter dinner (which my son cooked/brought ingredients, cleaned up!) yesterday, egg hunt, an early birthday celebration for my daughter, and lots of laughter. Very happy to be present and sober right now.

Without further ado... I'll throw some photos at ya... too lazy/tired to write a novel today.
RC... DOUBLE HEADER! We are truly blessed! :H Hope you are having a great weekend, my dear. Mrs. Tipps, Today, Stirly, and all other resident and visiting friends... have a fabulous rest of the weekend!
