    Evening Canuckerdoodles!

    Phew... glad this day is OVA!
    Picked up 120 bales of hay in 2 trips, all stacked up now... I'm good until Spring. Whoohoo! Big item off my list.

    Unfortunately, my back isn't terribly cooperative when it comes to such ventures. So, I'll be moving ever so s-l-o-w-l-y for a few days

    What's up with you lot?

        Happy Sunday, Canucklings & regular peeps!

        Cold but sunny here... lovely, actually.
        Had cake for breakfast.. how's that for decadence? :H

        I was up at 7:14 this morning.. on a SUNDAY? And, even worse... this was the NEW time! Did get a bit of work done, though.. so not a bad thing Just loafing around right now.. going to have coffee/cake with a friend (Mr. Sun's first wife, actually... and fellow AA member) in a bit.. other than that, making it a lazy day. My back is still yelling about yesterday. Meh.

        Nora, my dear... a good day is a REALLY good thing! Hope today is just as good or better!

          Yooo hooo Canucks and Company 'Twas a gorgeous fall day here too.
          No cake in my day but yummy dinner with my fresh sprouted mung beans for garnishment. Been sprouting in my "retirement" and loving it!
          My back feels like I did hay yesterday GG, if that's any consolation.:H

            Speaking of pride, or lack thereof, I guess you've heard all about our Mayor and his antics? Geez I could forgive him his vices it's his politics I can't stand.

                Thank you gurlz Well, it just so happens that she was married to him once... she's a very cool lady, though. Imagine my horror to see her walk in at my first AA meeting... totally zooming in on me :H We had a good laugh about that today

                June... errrmmm.. yeah... the dear Mayor. Quite the embarrassment, ain't he? What really bothers me more than his alleged addictions are his racial slurs, gay comments, etc. Very unfortunate to have someone like him run the city (or any public office, for that matter).

                RC dahling... you'll have to tell me about sprouting. I just don't get it :H

                Well, it's date night (movie and I'll have to put out) here... so I better make my rounds and shut this puppy down Night night!!!

                      Good Evening, Canucklets....do you mind if I pop in on your thread? I'll just be a namedropper....I'm here because of GG....as in sunshine_Great Gal. I'm half Canadian French and my mom's parents are from Quebec so Sunni said I qualify as a Canuck and I could stop by and say hello. I see we also have Aussie visitors here.

                      Sunni-that's cool that you're having coffee with Mr. Sun's ex. That's wild that you met her in AA. How does Mr. S. feel about your AF status?

                        Bridge you ain't gonna see much in my windows. Meh, it has it's pros and cons.
                        I read about your boy (as in offspring) struggles and wish you peace and fortitude...
                        GG sprouting grains and certain beans are tasty and provide bio available nutritional elements and live enzymes.

                          Sorry, I've been MIA... actually deeply buried in work at the moment.

                          Rustbucket!! Of course, you qualify and we're happy to have ya!! That goes for you undies, too

                          Rusty, Mr. Sun doesn't say much, but clearly, he much prefers me sober over making an ass out of myself (and him). However, he has no idea about his ex (and her partner for that matter)... We talked about it... she may tell him one day; their boys all know. She lives less than 10 minutes from us and I very much consider her extended family. My kids adore her, and we may or may not have Thanksgiving/Christmas dinners together.. all depends on the year.

                          Ok, off with me.. I still have a ton of stuff to do and we're going to a wee concert tonight. Be well, be good, 'n all that jazz!

                            Hi all! GG, I am so impressed by your friendship with Mr Sun's ex. You really are a bit special. And yes RC, I do get out of the drawer occasionally :H part of the growing process perhaps, or not. Dunno. Thanks to both of you for your thoughts on my chooks :l

                                Hey Ho, soggy cold peeps (yes, and you on the warmer side of the world, too!)

                                My goodness, what a day. Dunno who did what but MAN, were the weather gods ever peeved today. So much so, that the dog wouldn't go outside to pee and horses only stuck noses out of their stalls (hence forced me to muck out tonight). Sigh.

                                Went to the Wednesday women's meeting tonight.. there were only 3 of us and it was lovely, actually.

                                I may go for coffee with one of the gals tomorrow (turns out she's a nurse at the hospital here.. no wonder, I thought she looked familiar) - I really quite like her. And, I may visit with the other young(er) lady on the weekend. She has to put in a request for that because she's staying at a women's shelter at the moment.

                                And that's pretty much it for me... I really am quite busy with work right now, so not much time to travel the Interweb
