Good morning Troopers!! Hiya to Mollers, Mrs. A, Mario and KTAB and to all who drop by later.
It rained last night in Stirly-world. :yay: First time in 3 months. The trees are smiling today - all freshly washed and shiny. Warm sun right now but lots of clouds in the sky - could even get showers again later in the day. In fact I just checked out the forecast and there is a 50% chance of a thunderstorm this evening. As long as it doesn't take the power out.
Mario, too bad about your car not passing the check. Mr. Stirly finally gave up his old VW van last year as there was no way it would have passed again. Well, it would have if we'd given the guy who was checking it out a couple hundred euro but it just wasn't worth it. Had over a million kilometres on it... and it was kinda falling apart.

Have a shite day ahead of me at work today. Was in HQ on Monday and was left a whole heap of queries I was in no way qualified or capable of doing, and then all the higher uppers pissed off home at 5pm, so had no one to run my problems past. I muddled through to the best of my ability, but I just know there's a mess there somewhere, and I'm back up there today. I feel very anxious about it at the mo. and feel like running for the hills. Thankfully its not booze anxiety added into the mix I s'pose, but I just feel at my age, they could have left me alone doing the job I loved and did very well - why can people mess with peoples lives on a whim:upset:

Well done on your slimming yet again Jackie. Can't believe you've managed to lose weight every single week.

Molly love, don't you ever apologize for having a bit of a vent.
I should be giving you a great big :l and a thank you. I've just rung that debt recovery place. Me heart was thumping. I just thought if our Molls can get through this shite at work I can pull me big girl's pants on and give them a ring. They couldn't have been nicer. It could be worse, I could be filing.

Do you know what Molly, I used to get myself into a right tizzy about work related stuff. Now I just do it as it comes and dont let the bad stuff effect me too much. Also I try and draw a line between work and personal stuff and close the office door when I am finished for the day. Not an easy thing to do when self employed as you well know but it has made a big difference mentally & physically I reckon.
As you say keeping things in perspective helps. If you cant answer a question, you cant answer it, if someone gets upset or annoyed its more their problem than yours, for they must have little else to worry about in the scale of things.Ethanol is a toxic chemical, why would I drink it?

Not suggesting for a moment that you stop caring or taking pride in what you do, we all need that to have any sort of self worth and feeling of job satisfaction. No, what I am suggesting is, if you havent been given the tools to do a job there is no need for you to take it on the chin. Hope I am making sense.Ethanol is a toxic chemical, why would I drink it?
