Hello again and g'nighters to the far-away ones!!! :hallo:

Phew.. this shopping trip was complicated.
Tomorrow is my son's birthday (that part is pretty straight forward) - card and cheque and pie.

He and his g/f just had a baby last Sunday... which they've given up for adoption (open adoption-we know the couple and are invited to be part of the little one's life)... sooooo - Flower for g/f, teddy and jumper for baby and card for adoptive parents? I wonder what proper etiquette is in this sort of case?

Well, yes, and no.
They're not ready/willing/able to be good parents... so I think that this was a good and responsible solution. As long as they can live with it.. that's the only part that really worries me.

Otherwise... it's a nice couple, early 40s, very well off financially, and close by. So grand baby #2 is in reach for the foreseeable future
