Phew! That's my annual dose of excessive decoration, emotional crappery and general waste of bandwidth done for the year.

    Next?

I'll get the IV drip stand....

ps I actually kicked my son out of the house when he was 16. Not because I wanted rid of him but because he was doing meth. I told him no mama wants to watch her child kill himself. Do it on his own time. It took about three months. He became so hungry and so sick he came back. I finally got a night's sleep. No one can know how difficult that was. I would lie down in bed at night and think about him dying alone. When he came back, I slept an entire night. What a horrible time that was.

Today, he has children, a wife and a good job.

I am grateful he did not die. Many other mothers watched their children die. I feel blessed.

Shoot. I do not know why I posted this. I do not mean to worry anyone. But that is what I lived through. I wanted to share.

I gave him love and one day he decided that my love was more important than the drugs.

I doubt if you are dealing with that. I just wanted to share.

Maybe I shouldn't have but it is out there now.

That is one of the bravest stories I have ever heard.

Thanks for that, Bridge. It was entirely difficult. Sleepless nights for months.

They call it "tough love" and it was very tough.

It was worth it, though. He is such a joy to me. Redneck that he is. :-)

I got two beautiful grandchildren out of the deal, too. Giant dark brown eyes, both of them.

        I am blessed. Truly.

And Cindi, if you can find the strength to do that....you can do anything

            Ahem, Techie.

            Happy birthday.

Tawners went all out for you. Graphics and everything.

Not sure about the "Ninja" thing. But, from one techie to another. It is what we do. Continue to do it well.

            Love,

                Yes, me, too.

Sorry, guys. Obviously there's serious stuff to be addressed whilst I'm being frivolous. I apologise. Nighters.

what do you think would happen if I rang this phone number from Wellington and claimed the bunny??

I'd hate to think that a wee human might be deprived of his or her bunny though .......:H

Tawny - loved your happy birthday poem for Techie!!!!!!!

I reckon we all should ring and claim the bunny.................

Cinders, reading your story, and what is happening in so many people's lives, I see that so many of you have tremendous inner strength, and powerful love.

Thanks Missy. Wasn't it fantastically poxy? Stoked I didn't do a huggage or throbbage. I shall sleep easy. (Go get me, grammar and syntax queens)
