    UNDIES IN OCTOBER

    blondie;1190501 wrote: Cindi

I am so sorry to hear of this; it is bad enough that we have our own demons but also have to watch others we love with their own problems. I can only say I understand about your mother as I am in a similar situation.

    Again, thinking of you...
It is so difficult, isn't it? I love my mama so much. To see her suffer so torments me.

As for my girl, friends. She is just one of us. One day she must just decide enough is enough.

    Love,

It is so very painful, but my partner did say once that I am the one who is hurting more than her, as she doesn't know how her life is now. It's not much but it gave me something else to think about (still awful though).

        Blondie,

What makes it hard for mama is that she watched her sister go through this and so she knows what she is going through. (Sometimes, others, she is just out of it.)

She is such fighter and doesn't want to give in to this but has no choice. It makes it hard for all of us. We don't want her to be going through this either.

OMG. I love her so much. To see this happening to her and to know she knows what is going on is so painful.

I do not know how to describe this. Other than sheer pain.

That is, indeed, so horrible for your mum to have that awareness of what she is going through. I often feel guilty that I tend not to think of it, but there is nothing we can do and torturing yourself doesn't help. (I hope that comes across OK) We used to joke about mum's "forgetfulness". It is very painful. I have no sage words of advice, only empathy.

Gardening query (HTF do you spell that?!) for you antipodean green thumbs:

I have a row of beautiful Cos lettuces (is that the plural of lettuce - it sounds clumsy) that are about to bolt; is there any way to preserve/save them? Perhaps Vitamix then freeze? Charities only seem to want non-perishables.

Blondie I'm not the best gardener in the drawer so I wont offer advice!!

Cindi, hope you have managed to get to peace tonight. I just checked and it is still only 10pm yesterday where you are. I hadn't quite realised how much the time difference was.

Well Undies I bought a steam mop today :H:H I did not go out to buy a steam mop, and neither was it even on my list of "things I would like to buy one day". But we have two quite big bathrooms and the foster kitties live in one when they are here and this current one, while very sweet, seems to accumulate a lot of dirt which she spreads all over the floor. And Mr B junior seems to be doing the same in the other bathroom. So when I went into Harvey Norman this afternoon to pick up some soda stream cordial, and there was a steam mop at a third of the normal price because it was the one that had been used for in-store demonstrations I just couldn't resist. However, it didn't come with a box or a booklet so I'm now Mrs Googling!!

Reggie, can you give me instructions please!!

                  Angel!! Lovely to see you!!

I had to laugh .... all the way through the TV commentary they kept going on about the wind, but where we were there was none :H:H

I have to say I reckon there is a fair chance that the Wallabies might just pull this one off :upset::upset: But I'm not giving up yet!!
