    UNDIES IN OCTOBER

I thought that cheer was for a cricketer, but it turns out it is a great big cheer for you!!
    Well done, my love.
Thanks Rags (Now I'm beaming AND blushing!)

And, oh boy, I hear you re the formerly-intelligent-friends suddenly only being able to talk about poo-vomit-sleep-cycles. Several of my closest girlfriends all spawned at once so this is currently my life. I try to be patient - as they're dear all darling friends and god knows they've listened to me crap on about boring-to-them stuff enough in the past, but sometimes it is overwhelming. And, frankly, BORING. My only fear re being in the pregnant-lady-mocktail crowd this weekend is that I will drown in endless baby/pregnancy conversation. Ah well, thankfully there'll be at least one other single childless woman present, as well as a not-single-but-childless woman. Whew. (With no offense to any parents!)

This is for KTAB.(And interested Undies... a very old video tape from Countdown.. (Yep there are better versionsof it on youtube but I though tthis was interesting)

Oh and here are the words....

        The Wings Of An Eagle
        by Russell Morris

        [Verse 1]

Well I'm looking up at an overcast sky in the morning
I can't hear the warning as it calls to you
As the birds migrate and the wind is raised
        I'll see the eagle soaring
Although I'm just a pawn in nature's game like you
Wah hoo wah hoo, wah hoo ...

        [Chorus]

On the wings of an eagle I find myself lifted through the skies
Lifted up above the world to see
On the wings of an eagle I find myself lifted through the skies
Lifted up above the world to see
Can you see me? Can you see me?

        [Verse 2]

As the days roll on and the nights get long
        The changing of the seasons
And the falling autumn leaves they bring me down
They bring me down, they bring me down

        [Instrumental]

        [Verse 3]

Do you lose your way in the middle of the day
Do you see your brother crawling?
And all the while he's calling out for help from you?
Wah hoo wah hoo, wah hoo ...

        [Chorus]

On the wings of an eagle I find myself lifted through the skies
Lifted up above the world to see
On the wings of an eagle I find myself lifted through the skies
Lifted up above the world to see

Can you see me? Can you see me?
Can you see me? Can you see me?

Can you see me? Can you see me?
Can you see me? Can you see me?

Can you see me? Can you see me?
Can you see me? Can you see me?

Can you see me? Can you see me?
Can you see me? Can you see me?

Sweet, plump, they hold their shape and at $1.29 a hoot. Here with sauteed onion, garlic and just a bee's dick of cornflour and heaps of cracked pepper ... an easy-peasy yumbo lunch for two at ... erm ... less than $3??? Hey Ronnie, I don't know a thing about gardening/plants either.
I just admire them from a distance, and appreciate the skill others have in making such beautiful end products grow. your job sounds lovely.

K guys. Instead of buying ice cream today to have with my American Hersheys chocolate syrup, I bought non fat milk to add to it. I now call that dessert.

Now I hope you all having lovely dreams. I pooper scooped the lawn, cleaned the carpets of any nasties, and lit some incense. Tuckage cuties!
Miss you Reg, wherever you are!

                              Good morning Undies,

Ronnie, great news. And you'll be able to get plants at wholesale prices too!
Ficks, love the happy little tomato song. Where do you find these tunes?

Off to the city later. They have a display of banners down George street with people's be nice to each other comments on them. I'll see if I can photograph some of them for you, but I only have my little camera with me. Then maybe across to Manly for a walk (sans chiens). Want to make maximum use out of my all day travel pass.

Mr G. I think you'll find everything you need there.

There's also this Raja Yoga meditation site. I had a great relaxation tape I bought from them 20 years ago. Used to send me to sleep within 10 mimnutes... it was too damned relaxing!
