    Thanks for the tale Tawny,
    Gee didn't that
quote get an airing in the 70's and 80's. I believe she's still around.

      UNDIES IN OCTOBER

      Morning all!

Look Rags. If i've said it once, i've said it a thousand times.........NEVER evaluate your knitting in the middle of a row. That's when we get into trouble. The psychological aspect and mind chatter we often battle when picking up a thread and needle is not oft spoken about, but the good news is that with meditation, yoga, and regular baking sessions, this CAN be overcome. Okay, knitting to many is a mysterious, complex art, but i say this. 'Knit, and be still'

p.s. Rags. Those dogs look like....... the minute you turn yer head! :H

      Have a beaut day everyone.

                  Good morning Mr. G.
Thankyou for the knitting advice.... I thought knitting would be meditative...... Oh bugger, I've just replied to you in the middle of a row. Now, where was I? K4 P2, or was it drop 2 pick up 1

How is your meditation coming along? Have you done walking meditation?

Back again....for a little bit before drop off..

Rags how do you find the walking mediation? I've done it on a retreat, but didnt find it as beneficial as sitting??

Edit: probably what I should say is - it put me out of my comfort zone??

                      "MORNING Happs,
It's a different type of meditation.............. an awareness of your body, the movement of your feet, ankles, the feel of the ground you're walking on, the brush of your arm against your clothes... the feel of the breeze on your face and legs etc. So it's less of a contemplative meditation, but if you find your mind wandering (and believe me, mine goes all over the place) just bring yourself back to the anchor of the breath.. I quite like this meditation because I'm doing something. My mind takes off in all directions during sitting meditation! I'm teaching the littlies to do walking meditation, and yesterday I had them sit outside for 4 minutes and listen, smell, feel and look. Then took them back inside and had them draw or write what they experienced..... it was quite interesting some of the stuff they came up with. That is a great awareness / being in the present meditation for kids.

morning undies! I'm still feeling pretty bruised by yesterday and suspect there is more to come today and tomorrow, so I'm trying to practice detachment and just focus on work today. I had a lovely response from Mr B's lawyer, who is American and a big crack-up!!

I like the sound of that walking meditation Rags!!

Missy, you have strength, resilience, and patience to get through everything. And through it all you will be a good friend to "the boy" .
Good to see your email seemed to hit the mark.

                            Morning Undies and Internationalists,

Missy - sending you spare canisters of EBG™ and loads of white light. You will get through this. In the meantime, just keep venting here.

Bridge - glad you're addressing this early. I'm very nervous about mac. degen which mum has and never fail to do the annual eye check. I'm totally blown away by the technology now available to optometrists.

HP - sorry I missed my Kevin on Top Gear and of course, he'd be an excellent, french-speaking driver. ***throb***

Raggsy - what a nice thing to do with the kiddies. What age group are you teaching?

Ficks - doing a happy dance for you. She's gooooooneeee!

                            Techie - you're scarin' me ...

MrG - I think we should refer to you as The Ebullient One ...

Had a great day yesterday and actually stood back and felt good about what I'd achieved. Just a small section but it's done, for the time being. I reminded myself that all this started out as a grazed-to-death sheep paddock. I think we often tend to forget how far we've actually come - on more levels than one.

                              UNDIES IN OCTOBER

Hello Undies--pokin my beak in here to offer some of my experience to Bridge and MissyB.
Bridge and anyone with mac D, I would find some bilberry(not blueberry), 60mg supplements and take at least 4 per day(divided doses). I've had customers reverse it over the years. I had to share.

MissyB, I know I've pm'd you about this but I just want to say that I am sending you every positive vibe I can muster to deal with your situation. I am so happy to see you fighting the good fight! You are getting a small sampling of what I've been through the last 10 years and I was the mother not the TP's partner. I wish you strength to always take the high road and never ever let this B make you give up on the boy. There is a support group for wives as well. xo

Nice work Tawny! I hope one day to have my place looking so purdy.

I'm not perfect, never will be, but better than I was and not as good as I'm going to be.
