    UNDIES IN OCTOBER

Also....have tried their range of handcream for dry skin. Fabulous! Pink tube. Just goes straight in, doesn't grease you up like a pig on a spit. Last hand cream I tried I nearly killed myself all afternoon dropping power tools and skidding out of control as my hands slid off the wheel of the car. Cosmetic OHS risk it is.

OMG Bridge, I just about drowned the screen in coffee after I read the start of this and had all sorts of images come to mind. Thank dog I read the end of the para and realised what you meant ......:H:H

We don't have Aldie's here. I've been doing a bit of work, but have retreated to listen to the Archers Omnibus.

                Bridge,

Here in the "states" there is a line called Roc. They "promise" you will look ten years younger or...

Ten years would make me old, not aged.

Not sure it is worth the money.

I do hate the whole "greased up like a stuck pig" thing.

I think I will take the old skin and live with it like nature intended.

                I yam what I yam.

Tawners, I love the pictures. I am living amongst beautiful Fall foliage. Your pictures remind me that in the spring, life blooms abundantly. The circle of life.

                  'ten years younger than who?'.......

We have Roc here too. It stings.

I like your attitude. They can love it or leave it. I earned these wrinkles.

i have a new love. it's called turkey mince, sauteed in evoo with cajun spices.
then over a salad of rocket, mint, parsley, avo, cuc & goats cheese. i have died & gone to culinary heaven.
as for the handcream & renovage stuff bridgee, by all means please try & glow. is it organic?
i've just had a phone call from our so called part time "worker". his partner is dumber than he is. she calls an ambulance when she has a cramping start to her period. no wonder i didn't become a doc & deal with stupid people like this. sheesh. kudos to all you nurses & docs.

Me, too, Bridge. I earned them and I wear them. I do not wear them lightly. I wear them bravely.

Shoot. Who am I kidding? I would love to look like Shannon Tweed who is beautiful but somewhat stilted with the Botox (or whatever is the newest thing) and surgery.

But, I don't have that kind of money and never will.

I do, however, have whatever it takes to keep putting one foot in front of the other.

I talked to my mama today. She has dementia. She has no idea who she is living with, the guy she has been married to for 66 years. She thinks he is a nice guy.

                        Sigh.

Life is not easy for most of us.

Let's just keep going and hope that we can do it well.

                        The best we can.

I want some chooks. But I am afraid the falcons in my woods would eat them and then... But, life is what it is.

I realize that it is true: Life sucks and then you die. However, inbetween the "sucks" are beautiful moments. Like Tawny's beautiful flowers, like my beautiful woods on fire with Autumn. Like special moments with our children. I choose to dwell on that. Not the wrinkles, not the pain, but the joy.

                        Love,
                        Cindi

                          UNDIES IN OCTOBER

Mr Rags gets results this week re his motley torso.
Mr Rags came up and took the little doggies for a walk then bought me dinner. Lovely.

I ended up with the dogs at my place for the weekend as the guy who was supposed to take over doggy minding got his dates mixes up. We boarded up the stairs so they wouldn?t dirty the carpet. Now have a smelly, dirty hairy foyer. Time for the vacuum cleaner and steam mop.

Oh, and I have caught a nasty bout of flu. Which is why I have been off air.
I ache all over, my head hurts, my eyes hurt, all my joints hurt. It must be man flu.
This is not good as I am leaving for the Solomons on Sat. and blocked sinuses = no dive. Bugger. Hope I shake it soon.

Have made some progress on the scarf. On Sat I had made a mistake so asked next door neighbour if she knitted. No she didn?t but suggested I nip down to the local church tomorrow. (yesterday) . Which I did. A lovely lady invited me for apres service morning tea, and there were about 7 knitters to help me. Have an invite to join the local craft club, and welcome to come to church.
Here?s a piccy of the scarf so far. The bloody thing?s going to weigh over half a kilo when it?s finished!.

OK crawling back to bed. Will finish catching up tomorrow.

Rags - I wore the socks you gave me to a house warming party yesterday and everyone wanted to know where I got them from!!
                          Kooly kool!

Great stuff. Growing vegies in a sack on your doorstep. This urban style of growing our own veggies in either arid or built up area's with little space has got leg's.

                              Thank's for the link.

All the best to Mr. Rags re his torso results, but i'm more worried about his head. Where's it gone?!

Get well soon Rags. Chilli is good for clearing the head i find, but i don't think it's for everyone.
