Anyone able to identify that flower Iput up yesterday?
After the Botanic Gardens we headed back to town for a coffee before the parade which was being held in honour of Bathtub and Finn…

“Kwuck Tuddies, uts eh bet tu stut” said the nice man in the uniform,


so we headed out to watch the parade..



Then we headed down to have a look over the frigate.




But, there was a HUGE queue and someone had forgotten to put Missy and me on the VIP list, so Missy said “Frig ut we dudn’t wunt to see utunny way…”




So off we wandered and came across the Alliance Francais selling… cheese. We had to buy some to take home for dinner

And these cheeses were on another table...




So arms full of baguettes and cheese we went back to Missy's place where we were welcomed again by Bitty the ket. She is such an adorable little thing.






DINNER!!





Next morning we were up early to hunt for the bows and arrows and swords the Teddies left behind on their last trip. (Longish story... they were Lord of the Rings Teddies then ) .
So up to the top of the cable car we go, the Teddies had a great time looking for them, however they couldn't find them where they thought they'd hidden them all those years ago ... but... what they did find was this!!

After I convinced them that they would not be allowed to get it through customs, Missy took us to a beaut place for brekky...










OK Guessing competition time again. Who had which brekky?




Waiting for my coffee, I got a paper to see what had been happening in the rest of the world.

mine actually turned out fairly garlicky ( thank goodness i love it!) & now the whole kitchen smells vaguely Italian.i did mine "encroute" (sp) ie in a parcel....delish!
well done happy & sunny for getting & kick starting - all the other slackers (exept ragsy!) are dreaming the dreams of the innocent.....i had wierd dream again last night where i was touring thru china, in a Mercedes, then coming across a place called "Little Canada" IN CHINA cos so many Canucks lived there....can you believe it! i must be getting brainwashed by RC....
turdsday today. another fine one, & hopefully hubby has caught dinner.
then only 1 more day & i'll be orf for a week or so, missing you lot!!! :upset::upset:
BUT (as i'm sure you're all breathing immense sighs of relief) I WILL RETURN. in fact, later today.

And all too soon it was time for me to wing my way back home.
Enquiring at the information desk where to pay my departure tax, the kind lady asked “Uh ewe living” As I was standing there breathing and conscious, I replied in the affirmative. After paying the tax, some entertainment was put on in the waiting area for the Teddies.







Mr Rags was at the other end to meet me, and he had a surprise… he’d booked dinner at our favourite local(ish) restaurant. It has a bar next door to it and in the bar is a motor scooter, sort of like that picky Happy put up. The Teddies of course wanted to hit the bar, but I was too zorsted. So we had a lovely dinner and that is the end of my story.













Except that the french onion soup was out of this world!

Was just doing some reading and found this site. It's got a bit of a 'God' angle, (nothing wrong with that necessarily either) but not overly so, and has some useful commen sense stuff on recovery tools/grog addiction, so thought it would be of interest to youse. I've been looking at the flower photo Rags. Looks like a polyanthus primula flower, but it's not the right growth habit. Was it a bulb ?

Well I'm waiting for some really rude relative buttheads to turn up (late). If they don't watch it they'll not get any labne.
