Now there's a person with time on their hands.
And I love her comment wanting it to look tasteful.
Not being a patient person I'm starting to think my knitting can go get knottede.

And Rags, I did catch my spelling error of glob instead of globe but did not correct. I trust you knew what I meant, if not I must apologize, as you go out the door!

                UNDIES IN OCTOBER

                hello Undies,

turned off all my emails today and just focussed on work. I was very glad that I had done so when I cam home and read the latest emails from Mr B's ex. Her lawyer isn't even trying to represent her client now, but just forwards the emails on. I have a slight suspicion that this is a deliberate act on her part so that everyone can see what she (the lawyer) has to put up with from her client!!! Anyway, I've had a bath to relax and am just about to put a DVD on.

Raggsy, I hope that Mr Rags is okay and that you enjoy giving him some TLC!

TF I love the knitted hotel room!!! Its amazing to think of your lovely garden as an old sheep grazing paddock. There is a place up the coast that we go to regularly where old sheep farms have been split up into 1 and 2 acre sections and I've sometimes thought how nice it would be to win Lotto, stop work and plant a big garden.

                Off to watch my DVD!

Haven't got any hooch, but i do have a 6 pack of yer San pelligrino limonata in the fridge. Noice.

Rags, no, haven't tried walking meditation yet. I reckon i'm a bit too dopey for that sort of lark. Probably get hit by a car or something.

Oh Dog, Bridge forgot to say .... glaucoma runs in my family, and I've really noticed over the years how much more sophisticated the treatment has got. If they have caught it early, then they can now pretty much halt further degeneration.

Just watched Summerfield. Aussie movie from 1977 from the same people that did Picnic at HAnging Rock. Remind me now why we thought stubbies were attractive???? :H:H

And TF - your remembrances about Gloria Steinem made me recall a flatmate I had in the early eighties, who couldnt decide whether she was a lesbian seperatist or a radical Marxist and whether they were completely inconsistent (you know, along the lines of "is the prime struggle about class or gender or sexuality?" debates that we wasted our time on for too long in the 70s and 80s) Anyway, she now lives in a stately home in Sussex along with her exceedingly wealthy antique book selling husband. That is when they are not visiting their little pied de terre in central Paris or their award winning winery in New Zealand :H:H
