    UNDIES IN OCTOBER

    Morning folk's,

I'm a bonds singlet wearer meself. Love em.

In other news, there's a bloke on french wkend t.v. who looks in his 60's. He's got a shock of longish white hair, white beard, and a red headband. He's passionate, vital, alive, and the moderator of this studio debate over soccer ou rugby, i.e. which is better, finds it a real challenge to settle him down and give the other panelists a go. I hope i'm like this fella in me later years. Inspiring dude. What a character.

    Have a great weekend rooter's!

              UNDIES IN OCTOBER

Many years ago I had an outing with the English rugby team. It was 1979 and my wife was a junior. I had graduated two years prior. She had a classmate that played rugby and said I should go see the match. I did. After the game and numerous mugs of beer and limericks I decided to take the boys out. We went to Morey's in New Haven, CT since I was a member. Things got a bit dicey after a few red cups (the drink of choice there) and we were tossed. I then decided to go to Rudy's another local joint and got back on the beer. Called a friend that lived nearby. He had a '65 mustang that was completely restored. He didn't smoke in the car but seeing my condition he allowed me a cigarette. I pushed in the lighter lit my butt and threw the lighter out the window thinking it was a match. We are no longer friends and I've been banned from Morey's for life. Well, I have been back to Morey's.

Geez, unfortunate about your mate with the mustang Techie. Those car folk really take their restorations seriously, i know.

Now, i've got me big old Marshall amp set up in the loungeroom, and i shall play a spiritually restorative improvised piece, for my good friend Jonesy. x

I love squid. There is a little place in Manhattan that makes it fried, but different. They cut the steak in strips and fry that in a buttermilk seasoning. GREAT. I then often order a mako steak broiled with butter and thyme.
