Well, Bridge? Has it worked???????
I woke up with a really bad mouthy attitude, feeling supremely entitled for reasons which escape even me, immediately started downloading rubbish songs onto my phone and i thingy, resisted my mothers attempts to enforce hygene because everybody loves to smell my pheromones, and sulked out the door in misery because that's just what I do..................................So yes. It worked. I am now a teenager again. If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

Lunchtime check in...
So where, pray tell oh domestic godesses, does one procure turkey mince?
Raggsy - you better not get out of bed until you've got that man flu under control. It would be dreadful not to be able to dive. AND you've got the Brizzy meetup to look forward to.
I have only done boring things today so shall not bore you aswell.

Shas is Going Strong - one of us. I sometimes see her logged on. She's good value.
I'll try our Woolies & Coles but don't hold out much hope for the turkey mince. Only found some Luv-a-duck a couple of weeks ago after trying for years. We're country folk, you know? A bit speshul ...

Turkey mince from any Woolies or Coles TF around the chicken just past the lamb turn right at the beef...
good directions for the turkey mince, but i have found it difficult to actually get in mince form - & mincing up turkey breasts would prolly be too low in fat & thus become dry when cooked.... oh the trials & traumas.
Just been skidding around in the paddocks dropping hubby off at the tractor to finish the firebreaks today - seems ironic when it's pissing with rain & hasn't let up for the last 24 hrs. Hence it was 4-wheel drive mode in the ute & i practised skidding. twas fun. when no fences or trees run out & hit you.
thus a day of puter workage today, doing that fascinating exercise called the "cash book", dealing in all these figures which i know nothing about. fudge a bit here, fudge a bit there. i'm a scientist not an accountant. pah.
alright bridgee you realise now that you're young again, we'll have to ground you when you get out of control & confiscate your puter & if you're roolly young, you may not use this site!
it's days like this whereupon i start to get down a bit, folksies. nowhere to go, feeling a bit trapped in the "clutches" of the farm, not able to just shoot off for the day somewhere.
been feeling the slide of downward a bit so trying hard to keep the good vibes going. better overdose on transdermal magnesium.
come to think of it, the only thing that i have interesting to say half the time is about food.
not today however, as doing a beef curry for hubs in the slow cooker hardly fires the imagination & i'm contemplating quinoa for lunch. lost a bit of creativity actually.
pah.onto the books then.
i'll check in later & see who is about.
hello & hugs to all.

Coles and Woollies have it. You could also ask your local butcher

Going back to bed inna minit after this catch up. Feeling a bit betterer than yesty.
Heard a creaking noise about an hour ago , got out of bed went to the balcony only to find the mulberry tree has split down the trunk. It can't be saved. That will be a jobby for Mr Rags and the chain saw. i guesss the weight of the fruit, the rain last night and today old age finally took its toll. Bugger. It was a bumper crop, and I planned to make mulberry pies for you aLL

Get well soon Rags. Chilli is good for clearing the head i find, but i don't think it's for everyone.
Chilli and ginger I think may do the trick Mr G.
