    Pouring rain, cool and dark here today. G and my trip have inspired me to really get into my art projects. Don't know when I'll have time but seeing some of the stuff and prices the artists are asking give me more confidence.
    Sunni, will be with you in spirit on the trip. Can't imagine how surprised and touched your mum will be. Have fun, be safe. When do you come back and how will your world manage without your crazy self? :H

        So I just get home and hubby tells me that he has fixed the leak on the balcony... Yay.. So I go out to it today and see that he has not replaced the rotten wood but fully intends to re-use it. Huh??? This is not a little saturated this is rotten and has bug mine holes, the works!!!! He says well ..... You won't see most of it... I said .... You don't see your ass hole either but that doesn't mean you shouldn't wipe it! Am I wrong? Duh? Help me out here Rog!! Bfn. G

            Update concerning ATLThrash...

            Hello peeps! Our dear ATLThrash is back in bed (or should I say FINALLY in bed!)- she went to see the doctor today and she has strep! She needs to rest up, per doctor's orders.

            She would like for Grateful, Rubes and Vick to know that she thinks they are a good looking group of gals...and Rubes, you may head down there and cook for her and mother her a bit!

              Hi family...came home a little early with the beginnings of a migraine. I have made a doctors appt for the 17th to see what is going on, but I know it is stress related....
              My Jason Vale book, "Kick the Drink" came today so I will start reading it.....looks good so far....talks about the joy of being free from booze instead of mourning and feeling deprived......
              off to cook some dinner

                    Mama, I think we just need to send our good thoughts, prayers, etc. in ATL's direction.

                    I am loving the Jason Vale book, too. It's resonating with me in a way other books have not. I'm eighty percent through the book.

                    As for the Spring meet-up, May works for me...or March, even...

                        I like his book too Shewrly...makes alot of since...not to grieve over not drinking, but embracing our freedom...I am trying to remember I USED to have fun and relax without it, right?

                            hey there everyone .. well ruby DONT MESS WITH THE HAIR ... you cant pay me enought to cut my hair ... but really if i cut my hair i will lose my power ...
                            just kidding ... and mama i would love to have a spring meet up as long as fennel is coming ... but will just have to go with the flow and hope for the best with sue and her up's and downs ...

                            mama yeah we can have fun without al in the picture and i have to say ..
                            with me taking the 3 1/2 years off of al has show me alot about myself and now today yes i am drinking but not even as close as what i was drinking before ...
                            i dont drink every night and i dont drink when im pissed off ...
                            i have so many rules to where its not even worth drinking so i dont half the time ...
                            but the best way to desibe it is place two drinks on the table and the first one i glab is the pepsi .. i work every day and i dont drink to have hangovers and to just forget how bad life is at times ...
                            so dont know if anyone can really understand but it works for me.. i have given my body and soul time off to really understand what i want and al isnt the main thing in life for me ...
                            work sue and my sons and you all mean the world to me ...
                            well i hope yall can understand ...
