Good morning, family. I've been up since 3:30 with the pain in my hands. As soon as the sun came up, I picked all the okra here and for Paul's cousin, who is in feeble shape and couldn't pick his. I almost offered to cook his for him with other things, but I kept my mouth CLOSED (can you believe it?) and just handed him his bucket of okra! I am too tired today to do anything. Thank goodness, I cooked enough yesterday, we can eat left overs! I'm going to do a little bit of cleaning, then read some. Ruby, I'm glad you had a good birthday, even though it was pretty hectic. That was so sweet of Kelly to send you roses! The pics looks so good! Grateful, I pray you are feeling better today. I hope you all have a wonderful fall day! The weather is so perfect! Hi all just popping in to update i am 4wks AF today, and doing well on the Campral 333mg 3times aday, 9days on them no complaints as yet lol I am just so happy to be AF after my last bender 4wks ago i thought i was going to die, i can honestly say after 20yrs + with the fight with alcohol i never experienced anyhting like it....some how i got through the terrible time after stopping drinking, i must say it took me about 3wks to recover in that time i went to my doctor who put me on the campral.
I can only say one day at a time i will beat this demon....and with all you lovely famlily here i cant go wrong, you inspire me, give me hope, lift me up, keep me strong and motivated i thankyou all you wonderfull people. I pray for you all god give us all strength to beat this terrible addiction. xxxx :-)

IE, I'll tell you those 'after the binge' scares continue and get worse. When you get to the point of trying to write your will and goodbye letters, you totally realize what you're doing to your body.
As I mentioned, hubs had an employee who called his wife at 7:30 and found her dead a little after 11. She had mixed too many drugs and AL. Around 45, I think. I'm still thankful to God I never died in one of my episodes, and am so ultra-careful now it's annoying. As we get older, the stories become more frequent. Don't want to see any of my friends there, or be one of them. Take care, love.
Vick, that's a GORGEOUS picture. The mountains are ablaze right now, and I have so many calling to use the cabin, but it's off-limits now to anyone but family and dear friends. I've had 5 calls in the last 2 weeks. I offer February, maybe!! :H

Bob walked into a sports bar around 9:58 PM.
He sat down next to a blonde at the bar
And stared up at the TV.


The 10 PM news was coming on.
The news crew was covering the story
Of a man on the ledge of a large building
Preparing to jump.





The blonde looked at Bob and said,
"Do you think he'll jump?"


Bob said,
"You know, I bet he'll jump."


The blonde replied,
"Well, I bet he won't."


Bob placed a $20 bill on the bar and said,
"You're on!"




Just as the blonde placed her money on the bar,
The guy on the ledge
Did a swan dive off the building,
Falling to his death.


The blonde was very upset,
But willingly handed her $20 to Bob.
"Fair's fair. Here's your money."




Bob replied,
"I can't take your money.
I saw this earlier on the 5 PM news,
So I knew he would jump."


The blonde replied,
"I did, too,
But I didn't think he'd do it again."


Bob took the money.
