        Good Morning everyone! I am finally up and around, having fed the dogs and need to decide what to do on my day off today - have a list a mile long so have done nothing yet!! Probably go out in the garden seeing as rain is on its way. Need to brush the dogs too - and must do that outside as well. Ruby - I hope you enjoy the cabin - and that it will be a peaceful respite for you.

          hi folks,
          i haven't been online in a while...been sick this past week, or even a little longer. this darn cold will not go away, and is just moving to different parts...ie...head...chest...throat. ugh! i was supposed to be studying today, but have only napped and am just getting to the schoolwork part. going to have to cram for the exam now. fingers crossed.
          hope everyone is having a good day!

            Well, I haven't had time to read back. Nora, I did see your precious puppy! I have had 2 days of physical therapy on my hands and I hurt so bad, plus it is interfering with my daily routine majorly! I will go now and try to read back. I love you all! Vicki

              Good Morning everyone! yes - it is me - at 10 to 4 in the morning and I am getting ready to go to work! Early (!!) shift today - LOL. Hi Vicki - I hope that your hands feel better - isn't PT supposed to make your hands feel better? Abi - nice to see you again - hope your cold goes away soon and that your exam goes well for you. Ruby - have a nice relaxing time at the cabin! Rog - how are you doing? You aren't saying much of anything - are you okay? I know you are working which is good - is everything else okay? Jan - are you back today? How are the ears? Gina - how about you - how are you feeling? Grateful - are you going to post? How are you feeling? Nora - how goes it with the puppy?                   Sorry so quiet but busy here. We got here very late Mon. Yesterday they slept in, went groc shopping for me, JC proudly showed me all the beautiful work he's done here, Tay had the house sparking. They grilled steak and Tay cooked all the fixings. JC's been cutting firewood too. Nice. We're going fishing today. Taking lots of pics too. Later all.

                        So sorry MB. Sleepy and Goofy are off to buy fishng crickets (sorrySun) then we'll fish. Had a heart-to-heart with them, praised what they've done, but talked about responsibility. Told JC Poppa is ulimately who HE better impress and the 2 things he should know: having and keeping a job, and NEVER doing anything that would make Pop mistrust him. Tay listened in. I get away with tons but I sleep with him! :H:
                        Will be home tomorrow (sigh) JC is trying, and he's a smart, sweet man-boy. He understands he needsPops respect.
                        Off to fish (I've been resting Sun). Have bean soup in the pot and JC will be planting and transplanting later. Check with y'all tomorrow I hope.

                          Well, I am home from work - all i seem to do is post that I am off to work or home from work. Jan - I am so sorry that you had two miserable days :l:l Now you are home, you can get to feeling better. Was your ear really bad on the plane? Feel better!! SO pleased that you rested Ruby!! you knew that I would be after you didn't you - after all, OLD folk need their rest!! :H Not going to mention the crickets - yuck. Rog - looking forward to you sharing.......

                          Going to write down stuff about my trip so I don't forget it - I mean i will never forget it but I want to remember ALL of it!!!

                                Hello all

                                Sorry to have been away-- may be for a bit longer as well. I am thinking of all of you all and I am still not drinking -- just lots of health and family issues. Was so upset today I started crying and son happened upon me-- so he cried and now I feel doubly worse for not hiding it all better. He told me he was afraid I was dying -- it just broke my heart. Things can't turn around quick enough for me-- I am just praying that time does not run out on me when I am trying to do the right things. Sorry to go on about this-- I am not looking for anything -- I just had to get that out.
