trlgs--Planned to clean my filthy CRV today, but it's cold and rainy--again! Turned on the furnace, and DH hasn't notice yet! (fingers crossed)

mama--I'm glad there's someone else who still irons! My friends look at me like I'm crazy when I tell them I do. I cannot wear wrinkled clothes. I was trained too well, I think.

Georgie--Go to the art conference!!! Get away from yourself, and everything, for awhile. It will do you a world of good. Sorry you're feeling the feelings--I know them all too well.

Golfdiva--I, too, am eating like mad--carbs, carbs, carbs. I'm afraid to get on the scales. With all the stress in my life, food seems to be the only thing that fills the empty hole. Another problem for another day. Can't deal with that now.

Good Morning everyone! Juja - both MB and I iron - it is almost a standing joke on here!! I iron practically everything! Oh - and when you get your oil changed - I take my SUV somewhere they also wash it when they change the oil - LOL! The temps here were 40 again this morning and yes, I too turned on the heat. Chilly.

Good job Crunchy on not drinking at the party - what an acheivement for you.

It is decided..... I must go to the doctor, I get out of breath with the smallest task. My father had 4artery bypass @ the age of 42, usually hasn't affected family women, but I could be a first. Not taking any chances I don't plan on making my husband a widower,

I so wanted to post a pic of the amazingly ugly plumbing job! I can't because I already took out the drop light so there is not enough light. But it's so ugly that it's almost inspiring in a dark sort of way. The good news: It works! 100%! The sink drains, the washer drains, our house is whole again! Granted it took a good bit of Good Stuff foam and bandages, but it will last at least a year. Maybe two, maybe more.

Did you all see the post about Foam follower? He died at the end of July. I am SO sad about this- he was a support for me and I loved his jokes. His daughter let me know. Such a sad thing to happen.

Things going ok here. I'm certainly not ironing. :H:H Reformatted a computer today and heading to bed. Think I'm too tired to even read tonight.

Has anyone checked out the Kindle fire??? Looks like some good points but think I'll probably wait and see what come out next. Only reason I was considering it was I thought that my Zune was going out. And I have to listen to an audio book every night or I can't sleep. But, it seems to be working ok now and I've already got my Kindle. So, don't need to buy anything else at the moment.
