          Hello all-- feel like i have been neglecting my friends so sorry! I feel loads better today and it is one gorgeous day. Luke is out of school tomorrow so we are hosting a playdate-- I sort of wish it ws just us but he is an only child and needs his buddies. This one is very sweet but a tad raucous! Planning to go walking on Tuesday-- realistically I want to give myself a nice day today and Monday hubs is at work all day and yep you guessed it-- hockey at night so there will not be time for it Monday. Tuesday though I am planning to start getting up and at 'em. The illnesses have just been too much and I am ready to live again and not be in a hole!

          Rubes-- love the pics and happy bday. You are a special person and have made ahuge difference in my life for sure.
          Fen--hope all is well-- thanks for the great advice on all things mom related (I will not bore the whole forum with the latest psycho drama but wow..)
          Rog-- nice jokes, hope all is well.
          Vicki-- hope your hub is doing a little better and that you are good too-- loved your pics!

          To anyoneI have missed -- so sorry-- may be in a scant amount in the next couple of days as I am so behind that I need to catch up on life!

            Good morning my peeps! A beautiful day here...I may actually bike around the lake with Mrs. Fen in a couple of minutes!

            I love Vic's pics. Rubes, the weather is going to turn soon...you're going to have to get some pants on that little ankle biter! Maybe some little Ugg boots, too! :H

              Fenny, she HAS little pink leather boots with fur trim. Also 3 fur coats and hats, a raincoat, and a life preserver. She is the epitome of a well-dressed Yorkie!!

                Howdy,

                Going apple picking with hubby and girls, then making apple pies! Trying to get into the seasons spirit/mood. Up and down on the mood scale, to be expected I guess. Wish I could blink my eyes like Jeannie to clean house because feel guilty being creative when there is so much to do here. I just avoid everything housework and arts and crafts and sink into the couch with the tv. Sorry, whining a bit today. Hope all are good, haven't been on will catch up later on older posts. :hGina

                  I am at work....... oh joy!!! But it IS a job....
                  Oh My Stars...I nearly forgot...I have been recruited by a headhunter for a regional job making about $25k more per year...they wnat me to interview next week..... WOW
                  I have VERY mixed feelings. I love my team here and and am very comfotrable and I HATE change, but my family has to come first right???? Even if I have to travel and deal with corporate muckety mucks???

                    Great day to you all, my dear family! It is beautiful weather here and I actually feel NO pain in my hands or anywhere today! Yesterday was the worst! We couldn't go to Church because hubs still can't walk, but he is starting to feel better. The kids were supposed to be coming next weekend for my daughter's birthday, but I just got off the phone with her and she is so exhausted! She says she just wants to stay in bed all day and cry! She hates her job! I wish so bad she could find another one, but she's not a quitter, even though I told her to quit because they dumped 3 jobs on her the first week with no additional pay! Anyways, I've been thinking about it and I am definetly ready to move back home, in something smaller that I can take care of. I don't know whether to put my house up for sale and wait possibly years to move or just find something while the prices are so low. I hate the thought of moving again, but we are getting older and can't keep up with this place and need to be near our doctors and family. Oh, well, I'm not going to worry about tomorrow. I'm just going to enjoy today!
                    IRISH, congratulations on being sober for a month! What an awesome accomplishment! We are so happy to have you apart of our family, but wish you would post more so we could get to know you better.
                    GRATEFUL, PLEASE lock your bedroom door and turn the phone off so you can get some rest. Where is Biz? He has not posted in so long. How is he doing?
                    RUBY, I hope you have a good day with family. Did anyone get you a birthday cake? Shame on all of them! Awe...I wish we could have seen Tinkerbell in her pink leather boots and fur coat!

                        hello and happy sunday one and all .. just kicin back relaxing today and yes still catching up on email so heres anoher joke for today ....

                        It's Hell to be Old

                        OLD people have problems that you haven't
                        even considered yet!

                        An 85-year-old man was told by the
                        Doctor that he needed a sperm count as part of his physical exam.

                        The doctor gave the man a jar and said, 'Take this jar home and bring back a semen sample tomorrow.'

                        The next day the 85-year-old man

                        reappeared at the doctor's office and gave him the jar, which was as clean and empty as on the previous day.

                        The doctor asked what happened and the man explained, 'Well, doc, it's like this -- first I tried with my right hand, but nothing. Then I tried with my left hand, but still nothing.

                        'Then I asked my wife for help. She tried with her right hand, then with her left, still nothing. She tried with her mouth, first with the teeth in,then with her teeth out, still nothing.

                        'We even called up Arleen, the lady next door and she tried too, first with both hands, then an armpit, and she even tried squeezin' it between her knees, but still nothing.'

                        The doctor was shocked!
                        'You asked your neighbor?'

                        The old man replied,
                        'Yep, none of us could get the jar open.'

                                PLEASE PRAY FOR GRATEFUL! SHE HAS SO MANY HEALTH PROBLEMS!
                                Most of them are from stress and she is a magnet to stress! I'm very concerned about her! I'm praying she does not try to go to work tomorrow! She needs REST                                ! Love you all, Vicki
