      Swannie, you deserve your own SPECIAL command to appear. I think of you every time I'm at the cabin. Can't you jump a tramp steamer and sail to America?? I'll come get you (or have Tay and JC drive me) wherever you land. I have Cathy's Corner, T's Trail, RC's Round-about, MaryAnn's Mountain, and Swanny's Summit all laid out down to the creek in back of the cabin for JC to finish. Put on your thinking cap, girl, and every time you get down, look at the pictures I post just for you! What did you think of the little ankle biter I'm working with, and the infant kitty? We all miss you, and I'll mention you every day if you'll just come tell us how you are.

            Thought you'd like that, T. I know you love the place. Gotta find spots now for Vick and Grateful too. Since the road there is named after us, and the cabin has a name, I've got to busy making signs to put up. Swanny, are you here? You're already a part of us up there. I've named my gardens after the grands, and Jack's Rocky Jump has dual meanings for me. My Jack loves to climb up and jump of a certain huge boulder there.
            Last night Tay, JC, son and his GF, her daughter and Grace, and I, went to the community party. GF's daughter is a lovely, sweet little girl, and she'd never done a cake walk. On her first try, her number was called and she looked at me, bewildered! :H I told her she could pick anything off the cake table, and you'd have thought she hit the lottery! Then Grace won, then, since there weren't many still in the walk, I won. Everyone went home with sweets. OH! And Hubs had picked me up a beautiful caramel cake so I wouldn't have to cook, and the woman calling the walk put it aside till one of her family had the number! It was funny how she hung on to the cake!! Here she is with it in front of them (everyone else had left their stuff on the counter for later.) Hubs said she probably thought it was a big cookie (he's evil!!) They did games, a haunted hayride, pumpkin carving, got several big treat bags from the neighbors, had a pumpkin pinata, so I was happy to send the little sugar boogers home! Will post my costume later.
            We are busy, as usual. Still can't see my floor. Have carpet steam-cleaning set up for this week, finishing the clean out, Hubs is there now changing the locks. (Yes, he got the day off, drove his men like slaves all week so they could all be off today). So, I have to turn on my poor old washer and dryer again and get started. Later.

              good afternoon .. i woke up late and got busy first thing and then found out i didnt have to work at all ... but finish everything they needed done and now i can rest the rest of the day ... looks like a slow day foir the thread .. hope everyone is doing their best and shifting in the right direction ...love and big hugs later

                hi peeps...I am here...sorry I have not posted much but I have been at work 8 days straight getting ready for this big inspection...... the men that work for me are amazed that i will paint and bleach and work outside...it secretly tickles me.
                Bret is soooooo sick...poor thing, so I have been tending to him too. But since I am at work I forced him to take the boys to the grocery store this afternoon.
                Everyone sounds great....Mimzey I think of your girls all the time.....what a mess.

                Well..interesting night last night....16 year old son (Clay) went to a costume party with a couple of buddies. I took them and then picked them up at 11:30 (LATE for me)
                I wandered in to get some water about 1am since I was coughing so much...AND MY VAN WAS GONE....the little twerps went to McDonalds and who else...
                Needless to say I am livid...and I am letting Dad handle it.....trust me, that is a fate worse than death.
                I love my children more than life itself, but they are gonna be the death of me
                ok...better get to work....listening to the Jacksonville Jaguars lose AGAIN....

                    Hey everone - I slept in late too - well, not until now - but did sleep late - have been doing it every chance I get lately. Very unusual for me - I was always such an early bird! Anyway, have done a couple of loads of wash, and put it outside, even though there are ominous black clouds around - being optimistic - LOL. Have been through my stack of paperwork which has slowly been building up. Youngest daughter came over and took some home made stuff that I had in the freezer. Now I need to run some errands. Would really like to stay home, but need a few things!

                    Where is Vicki - Grate - how much snow did you get? Ruby - you sounded as if you had a good time last night! LOL We were super busy at work - and then I dreamed about work all night! Jan - sorry about Brett being ill. You sound as if you are super busy too - you sound like me with work - muck in and do everything - and everyone is surprised that we can do it !! So you weren't too thrilled with the sound of the other job? Rog - glad that you can take it easy today - enjoy your day and take time to smell the flowers. Swannie - lovely to see you here - you need to pop in more often.

                      Poor Bret has that crap I did that made me so miserable when I had to fly....

                          Yes Jan - I am so pleased that Ruby mentioned it to me - I would have changed my clocks last night - LOL. they changed them in UK last night and for some reason I thought it was the same here! Good job Ruby caught that! Oh - I went to the Doc Friday for blood test results - he is a new doc for me - my old one moved on :upset::upset: anyway - we obviously talked about the drinking and the Topa - he gave me some words of wisdom about how not to drink. he suggested I didn't buy alcohol - I thought I would pass that on here in case anyone else hadn't thought of that. ROTFLMBO !!! I was VERY polite and didn't laugh in his face. Or say "Really? I hadn't thought of that!". I was a good girl. Oh Jan - yes I do hang my clothes out to dry - and it still hasn't rained......yet!! Fingers crossed - the sky is looking very angry!!
