    I am sorry you don't like health professionals.
    Self-hatred is irrational.
    You can stop it by talking to a health professional and getting cognitive behavioral therapy.
    Negative thoughts are not real. Actually, thinking can be very unreliable. CBT is perfect for this.
    Work with a professional. There are good people out there.
    Learning to like yourself is not easy, but you only get one life Medic. You want to waste it with putting yourself down?

      Great post Nancy. I read something a while back about treating yourself like you would treat other people. I'm pretty compassionate with other people. Not so much with me. Would that help you Medic? If you think of something that makes you feel bad, say to yourself what you would say to a person who just confided that same thing to you.

        anti depressants have saved my life...but you need to talk to a doctor first Medic...
        self loathing is an issue I am very familiar with, but I try to remember all that I am greatful for when the pity monster taps on my shoulder
        I love my family more than alcohol.:h
        Live in the Solution....not the problem
