Healthy Habit Hotline
As I'm gaining clarity, I'm aiming to add one healthy change daily -- no matter how tiny -- to my lifestyle. This may sound silly, but today I've resolved to lay off junky Internet sites. Entertaining, but doing me no good!

I like this idea Crimsons. I've been giving it some thought. For me it has to be something really small daily. I think I will make sure that every evening I will make sure there are no dirty dishes in the sink. I'm currently 50/50 on that one. I want to start making sure it's done consistently.

Crimsons, the Spiritual River websites talks about this idea also. Here's a link to an article titled "Why Sobriety Needs To Be Challenging." M3 posted it recently. It talks about the importance of taking a positive step every day.

I'll have to think about what I should do. I think not wasting time on the computer would be a good one. I tend to overdo!

What a great thread...today I have put a box of mixed vitamins into a tub so it fits into my handbag, I have a habit of leaving them at home so I end up not taking themLearn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. The important thing is not to stop questioning.

I did something new. I made applesauce. It's dark because I added a lot of cinnamon.
I never canned anything before and probably never will again. It's a lot of work with too many opportunities to get burned. Then I went to the store and saw a huge commercial sized can of the stuff for less than $4. uch:
Anyway I hope we don't get botulism. Taking vitamins sounds like a much easier idea!

Crunchy, well done. Nothing like homemade even if it takes a long time! I make my own bread and most everything from scratch. You'll think it's worth it this winter when you pull out that healthy jar of yummy food! I think cooking is therapeutic not to mention will save you from all kinds of ills to eat real food without all the crap in it. I find no matter what I buy that's pre-made it never tastes as good as made from scratch. Whatever they preserve even the most "natural" of foods with, I can taste the difference. Anyway, congrats - I think it's super.
OK, for me today it's DRINK MORE WATER!
