Why is Wednesday called hump day?!? So much to learn.....

I'm getting a semi-radical hair cut. It is way too long for me. I think I need 3 inches off and something funky done. Goes off to find pictures of how I want it to look...

morning everyone and those yet to drop in

Hello again, Pingu its the hump of the week and on to the weekend I think.
Well back from my walk on the beach, the storm had died but it was still windy and very fresh. I was treated to a lovely sunrise over the sea and met only two people on an hour and an half's walk. Went down as far as the wetlands and the bird reserve which was bathed in morning sun with brent geese, shelduck and I could hear but not see what I think was some curlew.
Sure beats laying in bed with a hangover me thinks.

Ah OK, well in that case Thursday is my hump day.. Weds is my chillout day LOL. And I am getting my hair cut, working on some accounts and then going for a cuppa tea with my best mate

Sometimes I really wish I lived near the coast, it must be so nice to get the fresh air close to home. We have to drive 80 miles for it.....

Yeh I am very lucky where I live, nestled between the coast and the mountains, only a couple of miles to either. There are a number of nature reserves nearby too plus a lot of forestry. Nice if you like walking or have dogs.

              Good morning Troopers!!

Glad to see you all up bright and early. No doubt others will be along shortly. Anyone heard from Startypants lately. She's been MIA for a few days now. Since the 27th of Sept. to be exact. Would have been her Mum's birthday so I guess she may be feeling a bit blue. Starty - we miss you. :huggy

Pingu - Wednesday is called Hump Day since you've gone uphill on Monday and Tuesday and reach the hump on Wednesday and then downhill towards the weekend on Thursday and Friday. At least that's my understanding of it. Yep - this is what Urban dictionary says...The middle of a work week (Wednesday); used in the context of climbing a proverbial hill to get through a tough week.

Off to get a few errands done. Will drop by later. Hope you all have a very

              Slaterz...

Oh KT, we ignored it for years. To be honest it was a relief to get it out into the open.

I should have taken a photo outside of the Belfast Tesco of when the penny finally dropped.
