Army Thread SATURDAY 8th October
Gooooooooood morning Expattie & all to come
It looks like we're going to have a lovely day - warm and fairly free from wind (Reccie: I'm referring to the climatological variety).
Speaking of being free: so far so good on the nicotine-free front. I'm not climbing the walls yet, so something must be working... Early days yet, of course, but I think there just might be something about the Easyway method that's going to help me become a "happy non-smoker" as they call it. As opposed to folks feeling as if they can murder for a ciggie or those who pick up lots and lots of weight or substitute other things. No substitutions allowed, by the way - they're very firm on that. No walking around the block, no chugging glasses of water etc...I'll do whatever it takes

Good morning Expat and Tips. Cold and miserable here.
Great news on the smokes Tips. Long may it continue. One of the greatest gifts I gave to myself was giving up the nicotine.
Glad to hear pug dog is on the mend Expat.
After a horrible day yesterday Whizzy is not going to be downhearted so i am off to do my usual Saturday race and then off for a nice lunch in Chester,
Have a great Saturday and make sure Ireland wins the Rugby

Army Thread SATURDAY 8th October
Hello again.
Had a quick read over yesterday's thread. Congrats Zenners!! :goodjob: That is great news! I hope you enjoy getting back to work-it sounds really interesting.
Mrs. A:l Good news you are getting out there to chase away the blues and stress!
Tips-hang in there! I think Chill did the Carr clinic, didn't she? And she had great success with it. I have watched a few of his videos on internet but I guess you have to go through the whole experience to really "get it".
Alas, Ireland 10-Wales 22 final-if I saw it correctly.
England France going on now. I don't think France has a chance. Expat-sport reporter and expert--NOT!!:H

:hallo: Expattie.
What do you have planned for today?
I'm busy with pool maintenance and then have to go into town to do a couple of chores. Hopefully the afternoon will be quiet so that I can take a nanna nap. I'm loving the fact that the rugby is mostly broadcast in the mornings - far fewer rugby parties going on resulting in loud drunken people...I'll do whatever it takes

Tips - well done on the smokes!
Wellington has lots of Irish folk living here, so tonight in town felt like being in Tipperary!! A lovely atmosphere with lots of families and alcohol is banned outside so we had a great time despite the loss.Never give up, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn
