We did the Christmas shopping a couple of years ago in October and actually saved money. There's loads of buy one get one frees at the moment. Carlisle's a lovely little city with all the major shops.
Might even get over to the Lakes for an afternoon.
It could be worse, I could be filing.

We might try that in Newcastle next week after Lindisfarne.

Give me a ring and I'll give you a guided tour or we could have a ride on the tour bus.

Deary me, it didn't half hiss down that day in Dublin and do you remember Mr JC told me off for talking over the guide.

            Afternoon army :hallo:,

Hope everyone's having a great day!

Still Sleepless in Seattle. Ok, well TBH, still sleepless in the south east of England . Went to see my alcohol worker this afternoon. Would you like official confirmation of my insanity? You don't really need it, but anyway.....I've committed myself to trying to climb Mount Kilimanjaro within a year. It's an interesting challenge. And I've got to document my progress towards that objective on my blog. Mrs A, can you give me some essential training advice? Pleeze! :upset:

I loved this when I was in my teens. Haven't got a working fecking sound card at the moment, but I hope this sounds like I think it sounds.

My daughter's been to Tanzania when she went to stay with a uni friend in Mozambique. Long story, short. Friend's dad was with the Dutch embassy and megarich.

I'm good today Reccie, my youngest seems to be sorting himself out which is a huge thing to me, I was very worried about him. The slight cloud on the horizon is daughters Canadian visa is due to be accepted or rejected within the week. If it's rejected I fear there may be killings in this house:upset:

Getting more used to my new job as well - still would love to be back where I was comfortable, but it's ok. Once hubs doesn't go into a decline (he suffers IMO from slight undiagnosed depression) pretty much all is honky-doryMolly - fingers and toes crossed for your daughter. And I'm so glad to hear that your son is doing better. I know how worrisome it is for you. Good news that he seems to be better.

Molly, I've a question. Do those nose studs have something on the inside or they just stay in by themselves. I had thought of getting a really tiny diamond one some time ago but then kind of forgot about it. I think Mr. Stirly wouldn't like it much. Athough, TBH, if I really wanted it, I wouldn't give a fat rat's clacker about his opinion. (dontcha love TawnyFrog - she has the best expressions...:H) I got a second piercing in my left ear some years ago and he was, well, taken aback for want of a better expression, and not in the positive sense. I'd been to Canada for a vacation and came back with this little gold stud earring. My answer to his reaction was this - Well, if you think that's extreme, wait til you see my tattoo. Took him five minutes to pick himself up off the floor....
