    Army Thread 13th October

    Good morning army

Hope that those of you who are supposed to be in bed are all getting a good night's sleep.

I've been up all night working on my blog. The blog was my alcohol worker's idea. I'm seeing him this afternoon and he's expecting to see some progress since last week. Well, having been drinking all week I finally got myself sober yesterday afternoon, so I'm having to make up for lost time. Actually, it's quite good fun. It's password protected at the moment though, until I'm happy with the format.

Just sitting down again with my umpteenth cup of coffee since yesterday evening. Any one else want one?

Amidst all the doom and gloom I have a piece of good news. JC tells me my beanie hat is ready and it should arrive next week! Apparently it's fluorescent pink. I think she's kidding.....I hope so! Thanks very much jackie. :thanks:

            Hi guys!
Reccie a blog is a terrific idea. I blogged when I was going through a particularly hard time a few years ago and I got an awful lot out of doing it.

Tiggs, glad the smoko interruptus is going well.

Tabbers, Expatty and Molly, my heart goes out to you all. I know that horror of not being able to make ends meet and it is defo one of the worst feelings. I really hope and pray that things turnaround for you all soon.

Well I am still not working and I must admit I am loving having some time off. I have applied for no end of jobs but am sure when the right one appears it will be mine For now tho, I am tightening my belt and enjoying the peace with the doggers.

Mollers I know what you mean about private insurance. I had it years ago and it used to piss me off no end that it had me by the short and curlies.

Recciebear, I have been quite busy even tho not working. I had a lovely weekend with Chillgirl in London. We went to a Get the Life you Want conferance that was indeed life changing. I also had a great chat on the phone with Mr G the other day so keeping abreast of whats going on and keeping my priorities of sobriety at the forefront of my mind.

Sorry molly! I misunderstood you. I feel pretty good actually. It's kind of a relief to be sober for once.

                        How're you today?

I'm good today Reccie, my youngest seems to be sorting himself out which is a huge thing to me, I was very worried about him. The slight cloud on the horizon is daughters Canadian visa is due to be accepted or rejected within the week. If it's rejected I fear there may be killings in this house:upset:

Getting more used to my new job as well - still would love to be back where I was comfortable, but it's ok. Once hubs doesn't go into a decline (he suffers IMO from slight undiagnosed depression) pretty much all is honky-dory
That's excellent news about your son, molly. Do you think he may have inherited his depression from his father? I don't know if depression is hereditary or not. Best of luck with the visa!

None of us like forced changes much, especially not as we get older, but maybe with time you'll get more used to your new role and get to know the people at the different libraries better. Hope so anyway!
