i've fed horses, fed dogs, brought in washing ( which was spot-welded to the washing line due to the strong winds!!!) & will be grilling myself some loverly lamb steaks soonsih for dinner......see you all tomoz at some stage.

Looks like it's a tad bit calmer out today... I may actually venture out to work on the barn and/or my round pen. We'd had one of those tent/portable car port thingies up out there since the barn raising.. errrm... yeah, it did't make it through yesterday's weather. One of the lines held, though... so, it's sorta dangling from a tree now :H

Back from a lovely little break in Wales at a restaurant with rooms.
The weather was sunny alowing us to sit outside having tea, welsh cakes and bara brith.

I have made up my mind to take each day as it comes and enjoy life to the full.

I spent my child free day cleaning out their disgusting playroom (known here as the sh1t pit) and OMG it looks freaking awesome now, they won't recognise it when they get back, and hopefully won't notice that we have chucked 5 bin liners worth of their cr&p down the dump.........

now a huge huge mega mountain of ironing to do. Who invented cotton school shirts anyway?!?

well whatever M&S makes their school shirts from they do need ironing, so I have 5 little blouses and 5 bigger shirts to do, plus 2 sets of PE kit for him and another for her, trousers, skirts with pleats, jumpers and cardigans. And that's before I start on the grown up shirts and all my stuff and everything else. It's an endless job. Sometimes I feel like a full time washerwoman, like Dot in Easties.....

The shit pit looks stunning and tonight I am getting the new sofa I bought on ebay (sober) delivered which will look fab. I can't even start to describe the mess that I found behind and in the old one......
