    Army Thread 17th October

Best of luck with your "procedure" tomorrow Mrs A. I really hope it all turns out ok.

I'm afraid I couldn't help but be reminded of a certain Billy Connolly sketch, whizzy. Stirly probably won't have seen this one either...

Evening all, flying visit. Reccie you're a bad bear but bloody funny. My beany is as black as my soul, for the record.
Ethanol is a toxic chemical, why would I drink it?

Oh no Mrs. A! I hope you feel better soon. :l
I'm sipping my sleepy time tea. Going to bed with a book soon. I had some cravings at the weekend-for white wine, not tea! but it just passed. I wanted to escape for awhile-I've felt so stressed out lately and blah. It comes in waves-one minute I'm happy and then the dark cloud comes back. It's tiring. But I know when I feel like this that wine is the worst possible thing for me. Deep down I know it won't help. I did smoke 5 cigs over the weekend though. That didn't help either. :upset:
Just need to be an "adult" and face the fact that this is going to be a difficult time for awhile. So trying to think of fun and free things to do. *sigh*
Duvet and a good book for now. And a warm cuddly pug dog. So not that bad.

It's quiet in here today. Could Jackie's absence possibly have anything to do with it? Although I can see that zenners is doing her best to compensate!

I received not one, but two of JC's MWO hats in the post this morning. Thanks Jackie!

Great to hear your father's op went well ktabbers. And best of luck with your work situation.

Well, I had a good night's sleep with the help of a few pills and I've eaten a full English breakfast AND I'm sober and feeling good, so I'm all ready to tackle a few jobs! Catch you all later. Are you insinuating that our dear Jackie talks a lot? Shame on you. She's a very quiet girl. Almost a wallflower.

And how come you got two MWO beanies? Huh? Huh?

Seriously, Reccie - good job on being sober and getting a good night's sleep.

this is our pet hamster, Snowy, she lives in the "ex" shit pit, and her favourite activity is hanging upside down in her cage. Crayzee animal.....

AW, she's very pretty. We had hamsters for a few years. Both girls, a silver one and a blonde one. Mind you, I had to separate them when they went into heat. They fought very badly and I couldn't stand it. Then, a while later, another silver female. She loved to be petted and made little squeaky noises.
pingu1997;1194469 wrote: The bottom of the cage is apparently for sleeping and weeing on. And Snowy is a girl, although tbh I wouldn't know one way or the other. The pet shop said she was a girl.......
Well at one point when our first two females had died - don't feed them Romaine lettuce - a friend of ours gave us a male hamster as a present. There was defo a big - well, huge, actually difference between the little girls and the little boy. His, well, man-parts, for lack of a better expression were, well, right there in yer face.

We have 3 chickens, poppy, daisy and daffodil. Although Daisy is in retirement as she doesn't appear to lay any more. The other 2 are quite young and yeah their eggs are awesome

I am now officially disturbed as I don't have a JC beanie. I know I live in Florida, but I really think I should have one too so as not to feel left out. (I'm a sensitive alkie!!!) (She sends me wine gums and twiglets... I shouldn't complain...)

(She's got no WiFi and the hotel doesn't appear to have an internet connection, according to Stirls. She "made contact" with her earlier.)
