Good luck for the hospital visit

Been thwacked by the insomnia fairy again last night so woke up feeling like I'd only just gone to bed. Had a big bowl of porridge to wake up but it didn't really help

and my hair is still pink. I have a big AGM to present finances at tonight. I hoped that by making my hair pink they would be staring at it too hard to notice the numbers....

AGM = annual general meeting, required by charities, in reality annual bore fest with members falling asleep and looking at their watches wondering how long before coffee and cakes. But I am the treasurer so I have to present accounts. And I am going to do it with pink hair and the brightest clothes I can find. So they will be distracted from the numbers ... LOL

Whoooa way too much information there Anon....flippin heck have you thought about starting a new diet fad. There could be a book, a website, paid tv appearances, the list is endless.
I see it all now 'Lose weight the easy way.....one little pill and whooooooosh its gone'

Looks like the barracks are empty but just wanted to say that I hope you're all having a positive day.

Just back from the dentist - root canal started, to be finished up next week. Temporary filling which means I can't eat for another hour and I'm starving.:upset:

Pingu - about the Dark Orchard Tart thingey. I colour I always post in is called "dark orchid". A former member who was a bit nasty sometimes (and a lot nasty other times) made a comment about it. At the time there was a bit of, for want of a better word, unrest, on the boards. At the same time, another member wrote in her signature that she was a "Bac Tart" or something to that effect and we all took off with the word "Tart" and each of us decided what kind of Tart we wanted to be or what would be a good name for the others. "Us" being mostly the females who post here regularly on the Army thread. I ended up with two names - Dark Orchid Tart and PhotoBucket Tart, both for obvious reasons. It was just a joke among us and gave us quite a few laughs. And hey, if you're having a bad day, a good laugh is just what you need.
