      Glad your dad is on the mend, KTAB. Sorry about your uncle, though...

      Just back after fetching youngest cub from school. The Grade 6es had to host a Mom / Daughter evening for the Grade 7s.

      And the eldest cub went is going for his 1st self-defense class tomorrow. Except the guy who gives the lessons is calling it "unarmed combat" - apparently that makes it less "girly"

          Evening Army
          Finally have the kids pretty much settled in for the night.

          Gorgeous coats ladies.
          Enjoy the football KTAB:l
          Might go to our local caf? on Saturday morning with my son to have a hot chocolate and watch a bit of the rugby. Should be interesting.:H Telly free house here. Still. But we are not missing it as much as I thought we (they) would. No talk of the economic crisis from me tonight. I need to sleep. It will all be waiting for me in the morning.

              Welcome back JackieC. Love both your and Pingy's new coats too. Speaking of winter necessities, I gots me a JC Beanie on Monday! Many thanks for your kindness JC! I had my Mom take a pic of me wearing it but it really doesn't show the beanie well. Will work on that.
